Balloon pickup is between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. The exact time depends on the season, launch arrangements and collection route, and will be confirmed around 9:00 PM the evening before the flight. Allow extra collection time because shared vehicles may collect other passengers. Bring a warm layer and closed shoes. For Medina riads, vehicles cannot enter narrow pedestrian streets. Pickup and return are at the assigned accessible meeting point, not the riad door. We will send the assigned time, meeting-point name and Google Maps link through Viator Messages or WhatsApp before departure. Follow the final confirmation, allow enough walking time, arrive 10 minutes early and remain reachable for updates. If confirmation is missing, contact us through Viator Messages.

The hot air balloon ride was a beautiful and peaceful experience. Floating quietly above the landscape at sunrise felt surreal, with incredible views in every direction. What made it even better was how safe the captain made us feel throughout the journey calm, experienced, and always reassuring. The ground crew also worked incredibly hard, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that I’d highly recommend.

Picked up on time friendly guide. Kept informed before Base camp great had fire pits going as bit chilly before the balon ride mybe take light jumper. Breakast was good boiled eggs local breath cakes jam ans soft cheese marrocan tea and coffee no English tea tho but enjoyed it Yeh would go again

We had the most amazing experience. Absolutely 5 star. Communication: Full 5 stars. It was timely and kept us up-to-date. Pick-up: Right on time at 04.15am. The driver called 20 mins ahead of arrival and kept us updated about his whereabouts. Drive: Safe driving to and from the ballooning site. Pre-flight: Had plenty of tea and coffee in the tent. Kay, our captain provided pre-flight instructions. We had ample time to witness all the preparations and the filling up of balloons with hot air. Flight: Amazing experience. We were 18 people in the basket + the captain, Kay. Lift off was gentle, followed by 50 minutes of a smooth flight. Touch down was gentle. Post-flight: We had a lovely breakfast in chilly morning. Good selection of warm and cold foods. Overall a very well organised trip. Thank you to the whole team.

This activity is a must do if you are in Marrakech. Everything went smoothly from the hotel pickup to the breakfast to the hot air balloon ride itself. It was a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend it.

Wow! What an experience! We booked this quite last minute (the evening before). Although it took a little while to confirm pick up arrangements and getting a little lost trying to find our pick up spot, once we were with our driver, everything was beyond expectation. The flight experience is so well organised and filled us with utmost confidence from start to finish. Our pilot was just brilliant. Really funny, very skilled and he put us all at ease straight away. We went on an absolute perfect morning and words just cannot describe. I’d highly recommend this excursion!

This is a must if you are visiting Marrakesh. Our driver (I think it was Zohair) was in contact the day before, picked us up on time and couldn’t do enough for us. We visited in February and although it is warm in the day you need to take warm clothing for the sunrise hot air balloon trip, I was still a little cold and Zohair got me a blanket to wear. The hot air balloon trip itself is one of the most beautiful experiences me and my partner have ever experienced. Breakfast after was lovely and you can sit and enjoy watching the rest of the sunrise above Atlas Mountains. We opted to buy the personalised video (approx. £28) which they ask you about on the day, for us it was well worth the money to remember this and have video footage that you wouldn’t be able to get yourself. Overall I would 100% recommend this trip for anyone who is visiting Marrakesh!
