- All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
- Recommended to Bring: Camera, Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
- Children under 4 years old can't ride
- Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
- ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
- No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
- Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
- Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
- The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

The 3 hour tour was great. The trip through the jungle was amazing and beautiful. They stopped at 2 waterfalls, one just for photos and the other you can swim and hangout at for a bit. Got lucky and seen a dart frog and monkeys at the waterfall. The guides are very knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend booking this tour.

Loved this experience with a family of 9 especially the teenagers who could drive their own (with a valid license). The course is so fun and the waterfall stop was refreshing. The highlight was stopping for drinks and snacks at the top of a GORGEOUS mountain. Order an empanada and a frozen juice. Our guide was awesome and kept us safe. It was HOT so bring water and wear sunscreen. Very good value for what you get to do especially compared to ATVs in the US.

My wife and I took this tour with our teenage kids, one riding with each of us. There were only two other people on the tour with us, which was great - we had plenty of time riding and tons of interaction with Jordan, our tour guide.
After riding about an hour or so, we ended up hiking down to a waterfall where we were able to cool off and swim a bit. We took in some great views, and Jordan took some pics of the group before we descended back down to the starting point.
Definitely pack shoes/clothes you don't mind getting muddy, especially if it has rained recently. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

The three hour excursion was so much fun we want to come back and do the full day (6 hour) excursion. Our guide was very friendly and personable. He showed us some unique spiders and other animals and he stopped us to take pictures at some of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen in my life. My husband and I had huge smiles on our faces through the entire ride. Before the tour is over, we stopped at a soda that had great food and drinks. The ride was a nice balance of thrills with a constant sense of safety. 1000% recommend.

Very fun and exhilarating! Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable and made sure we had a safe experience. If you don’t mind getting dirty (was covered in dust by the end) then I would definitely book it!

Manuel was our tour guide, and he did an amazing job! Even took videos and pictures while driving the ATVs and the waterfall and river were unbelievable! So much fun! Me and my husband took our two young boys and they rode in the back, everyone loved it!

Great tour! I went with a group of 6 and we were the last booking but the tour was nothing short of amazing! Beautiful sights and good equipment. The waterfall was beautiful but the water was brown in the swimming area. Highly recommend.

This is a must do while in Jaco! It was our last day in Costa Rica and we didn’t have plans so decided to give this a shot. It did not disappoint at all! Our guide Justin was very friendly and helpful! We have done other ATV excursions at other destinations and none have compared to this. We would highly recommend this adventure!

We had a great time with our ATV guide Deny! He was absolutely wonderful. It was my boyfriend’s first time ATV-ING and Deny taught him the ropes. Deny took some photos of us throughout the tour, as well as some videos which we purchased at the end. We had a great time and saw many beautiful sights. The waterfall was nice and refreshing, also. Easy to navigate, most riding was on dirt roads with no cars. Tour guide was very cautious of our a safety. Was a great time.

We did the ATV excursion in Jacó, Costa Rica, and it was a perfect activity for our bachelor trip. It was a great way to do something different and take in the beautiful scenery Jacó has to offer. The ride through the mountains was amazing, and we stopped at a waterfall where we got to swim for a bit—such a great experience to share with friends outside of just partying and drinking.
The staff were super friendly and made everything easy, especially with the pickup and drop-off, which were perfectly coordinated. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and definitely a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

The views were amazing. Our guide, Will, was so helpful and patient. Expect to get dirty, and you may want to bring a face cover and glasses. We would definitely recommend!

We were guided up a cliff to a waterfall on ATVs. I had some trouble at first driving, and the guide gave me great tips that made me feel safer and learn faster!
