    Great Chef and great cooking class but the organisers messed us up with the address etc..

    Great Vegan cooking class in Hoi An by Mai.. But the actual company that took the booking messed us around by sending us to a different address and due to the recent flooding it was very difficult to get there. After we got to the first class, we tried to speak to the organisers but they don’t speak great English.. The place we went to effectively did t exist despite going to the correct place.. We were then asked to go to the new location so had to spend more on a Grab.. Luckily driver who took us there had not left yet but he had to drop us further than the location due to impassable roads! The next class, the chef was told at the last minute and she had to rush from DaNang to get to us.. She was really lovely and accommodating.. Overall not a great start - frustrating but the chef was really helpful.. On the return, again due to the narrow roads and flooding, the taxi wouldn’t come to get us.. The chef arranged a taxi for us - otherwise we would have been stuck for hours!!

    Fun and delicious cooking class with Mr. Cu

    This was the best cooking class in Southeast Asia so far. Mr. Cu was our teacher and not only did we make delicious food, but we had a lot of fun doing it. I highly recommend this tour - and it was great because it was JUST the cooking class - no other stuff included, just show up and cook!

    I only did the cooking class, not the boat ride, but that sounded like a lot of fun. They were 16 of us with plenty of room and two excellent teachers. Food was probably the best I’ve had in Vietnam and plenty of it. It inspired me to want to go home and reproduce the recipes, which they did give us at the end of class. I have taken a lot of cooking classes and this was one of the best. Communication getting to the location was excellent. Highly recommended!
