There is absolutely nothing wrong with making a same-day booking, and we are very much happy to assist with these bookings. As explained to you that morning, the actual Table Mountain cableway ticket is issued separately after the booking is received. On that particular morning, we were processing a number of client bookings at the same time, which unfortunately resulted in a delay in getting your ticket issued. This is not an excuse for the delay, and we understand that you were waiting for your ticket. However, we did communicate with you that morning regarding the delay and apologised for it. Your ticket was subsequently issued and sent to you, and you were able to use it for your visit. We always do our best to issue tickets as quickly as possible, particularly for same-day bookings, and we are sorry that the delay resulted in this experience for you.

This is a "Must do" activity in Cape Town. The views from the top are stunning with several walks to do depending on how much time you have up there. There are lots of Rock Hydrax (Dassies) lounging on the sunny rocks too. Take a drink and a bite to eat at the top and the shop is well stocked with tourist souvenirs. The queues for the attraction are very well managed and have plenty of shade and water sprays. we unfortunately happen to have booked a visit on a very windy day and the cable cars were closed for two days. When it opened again we joined the very long queue, up to 3 hours but it was still very much worth the wait.

We went at midday and it was wonderful. The weather was perfect. There was a line, but it was no more than a 1/2 hour from steps to cable mountain. Getting in the cable car is a bit challenging as they fit 60 persons. If you are short, it will be impossible to film going up and down the mountain. I did ask a staff person to video and they cheerfully obliged. We spent a few hours there and explored almost every part of the mountain. Plenty of picture worthy spots all throughout the mountain. Had I had more time in Capetown, I would have hiked one of the trials.

Booking went very fast, at the entrance you still had to queue something, but it took no more than a quarter of an hour. It was a great experience. We were lucky when we were up was still very good visibility. Little by little the rollers have come and covered the mountain. All in all a nice experience 🙋⍀️
