Superb trip driver was very informative, great coastline to visit. Would highly recommend
Bus to take to you causeway and back is £1 each way
Brilliant as it rained the day we went

This is a great tour. We saw so much of northern island. Our guide/driver was helpful thoughtful professional and entertaining

We really enjoyed our day on this tour. The Giant’s Causeway was definitely the highlight and made the trip worthwhile. Overall, it was a great experience, and the guide and transportation were excellent. That said, make sure you read the itinerary carefully and understand exactly what’s included. The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is only a drive-by from quite a distance you can barely see it, so don’t expect to actually visit or get a good view of it. Also, because a few passengers needed to get back earlier, our schedule was adjusted and we had to skip the final stop on the itinerary. That was disappointing, but aside from that, we had a really enjoyable day.Overall, I’d recommend the tour just be sure you know what to expect before booking.

Great visit to giants causeway and dark hedges. Be aware you don’t get to visit the rope bridge except from very far away, so you might want to find a small group tour that actually takes you there instead. The lunch stop isn’t great but that’s not the tour’s fault

The bus used in this tour was not a designated Allens Bus and the sound system was not working so it was impossible to hear the bus driver's comments on the tour. This was pointed out to him several times but not fixed even in down periods.
Drop off at the end was not where we were picked up

Great trip and plenty of time at all sites. Comfortably bus and wonderful food stop. The Giants causeway was the best part.

We booked our trip for a tour of Carrickfergus Castle, Dunluce Castle, The Rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges, the Antrim Coast Road, The Bushmill Distillery, the Giants Causeway, and the Glens of Anteim. We saw only the ruins of a castle, The Giant's Causeway, the Bushmill Distillery, and The Dark Hedges. We purposely booked this tour for the rope bridge and the castles. We were switched to the express tour from our ship instead of what we paid for. We will not be using Allen Tours again.

A great bus trip never done one before but this trip was fantastic. Bus good with an excellent tour guide/ driver. Very funny and informative

Great way to see the Northern coast of Ireland. Several stops along the way and lots of interesting commentary from the guide.

A great day out. Comfortable bus and a very safe driver called Mike. He was very knowledgable and told us all about the history of every place we passed. The sites we saw were lovely and the highlight, the Giants Causeway, was as good as expected. The weather even behaved itself and only rained when we were on the bus. Very good value for money.

Wasted too much time on not as important minor attractions, should arrive the main attraction giant's causeway sooner and spend more time there ...
Driver / guide was late (15 min) to pick up our large group, it's raining too, not a good experience ... at the end, missed dark hedges as well
Quite disappointed

Loved it. Highly recommended. Great pacing, giving chance to visit everything without rushing it. Amazing, knowledgeable driver, happy to share a few hints to help making the trip even better.
Lyn_M, May 2026
Big day but thoroughly enjoyed it. The causeway is spectacular but make sure you wear comfortable shoes ... Glad there was a bus to get up and down.
CHANDRASHEKARA_L, May 2026
Very good drive and good info from guide. Enjoyed the trip with family. Good service provided from tour operator
Terry_J, May 2026
This is a good value days tour. The driver/tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
You do get a bit railroaded to places of interest to only a few people on the way to the Causeway and you only get to see the Rope Bridge from a distant viewing point but overall this is a good day out.

Had a lovely time, marty our driver was very friendly and chatty throughout the day giving facts about the local areas passed. Great value for a full day.
Beverley_f, May 2026
That lunch was not included in the price of the ticket and it wasn’t explained that there was another cafe with cheaper food
ANKIT_S, May 2026
They were good
But needs improvement as the stop for lunch was not good enough
A bit Rude staff at the restaurant
Stephanie_A, May 2026
Guide Marty was excellent. Knowledgeable and very entertaining. Kept us interested the whole journey.

Melanie_A, Apr 2026
Nice full day of activities and sights along the beautiful Antrim Coast! Good value and very convenient from Belfast city centre. Humorous driver/tour guide. Audio system was a bit janky and would cut in and out at times, but we made do.
George_M, Apr 2026
Excellent value for the price.
Lunch stop was ok, but a bit pricey
Too long sitting on the bus and windows could have been cleaner in order to see better

We had an incredible experience hiking to the Cliffs of Moher with Philip and Connor! From start to finish, their knowledge, friendliness, and passion for the area made the hike truly unforgettable. They guided us safely through the trail while sharing fascinating insights about the local landscape, wildlife, and history. Both Philip and Connor struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making everyone feel comfortable and engaged. The views from the cliffs were breathtaking, and having such enthusiastic guides made the adventure even more special. We can’t recommend them highly enough for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher with experts who genuinely care about your experience.

Season matters for dark hedges when the trees are bare, it’s underwhelming, and apparently the tour guide can make changes. We never made it to one of the attractions that was listed, which was the bridge. Instead, we stopped on the roadside by a Castle.
TrishaAnn_G, Apr 2026
Great experience. Got so much stop so it was worth the money and also the driver/tour person gave so much tips and advice.
Arleta_F, Apr 2026
we had a perfect weather for this trip thats no one. Our guide Kevin was amazing storyteller. we heard so many facts and legends about the places where we head to and what we have passing by. Nice travel, coach clean.
Oranelis_B, Apr 2026
Martin was an amazing guide and driver. He was funny and explained everything during the travel. We left on time and he drove safe.
Craig_C, Mar 2026
Was a lovely day and was helped as we had the weather to fully enjoy this experience. Driver kept us entertained after joining us half way through following a problem for our first driver.
Dorothy_G, Mar 2026
This tour felt very rushed throughout the day. I would have rather had less stops and be able to spend time at carrick-a-rede and be able to go over the bridge. There also seems a lot of time on the bus in one chunk getting from Carrickfergus Castle and the next stop. Again would have liked to have seen more of the castle and had time to go round Bushmills distillery, this stop you literally only had time for the gift shop. At the Dark hedges stop we were given a voucher for the set dinner which was quite expensive as you had to be very quick, it would have been nice to have been told there was a little pantry coffee shop where we could have chosen something lighter. The driver was very knowledgeable but did speak a lot about the religion and politics of the country, I felt this would have been better to speak more about other history and special interests item as I have previously experienced on a similar tour of the coast of Antrim.

We were definitely disappointed with this tour . We have been very happy with all of our other Viator's.
in the past. Our guide and driver was good . Unfortunately our bus broke down in the middle of the tour and we had to be on 3 different
busses to complete the tour. We missed a site we wanted to see and feel we were shorted with the length of time we could spend on the sights we did visit. Definitely not the quality of the excellent tours we have had with Viator in the past .
