Walking Tour Belfast - A History of Terror
This was a fascinating tour with in depth details of the history of violence in Belfast specifically addressing the Troubles between 1969 - 1998. Eugene was very interesting and knowledgeable about this subject. The walking distance for the 2.5 hour tour was not too long over flat surfaces and Eugene was always aware of the group’s safety on the streets. Highly recommended tour.

Mylie was the best tour guide!
Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Belfast! Mylie was an incredible tour guide, going through so much history in such a short space of time and making sure the tour was accessible for all. We were really lucky to have her as our guide! The tour covered some deep topics and managed to convey Belfast’s history from a neutral viewpoint, and the passion for telling the stories of Belfast and its people was evident in all aspects of the tour.

The walking tour by Mylie...
The walking tour by Mylie (Im sorry if i have misspelled the name) was an emotionally stirring experience. She is a phenomenal storyteller with a heartfelt, authentic approach to sharing a difficult conversation about the troubles. I have already recommended the tour and her specifically to other tourists. Amazingly valuable experience.

A quick lesson in Belfasts history.
James told the story of The Troubles with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. He managed to intermingle with a few humorous antidotes to lighten it up.

Belfast City Hall
  • City Hall is a must for anyone interested in Belfast’s social history.

  • Remember to bring a coat and umbrella during rainy months, as the memorial gardens and lawns are uncovered.

  • The building is accessible for wheelchairs, with adapted toilets, a ramped entrance and exit, and a lift.
