An incredible day between Bromo and Madakaripura 🌋💦 Even if the departure is in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise, the effort is really worth it! The spectacle is magnificent: seeing the sun rise with this incredible view of Bromo and the surrounding volcanoes is a moment you don't forget. The entire organization to get to the site is perfectly smooth. Our guide Laila was exceptional: very professional, passionate, and truly pleasant. She also speaks English very well, which makes it easy to talk with her about many subjects. She took us to a great spot to enjoy the view and took magnificent photos of us. We really enjoyed our discussions with her. She knows the volcano, the region, and the sites visited perfectly, and makes the experience even more interesting. Climbing up to the edge of the Bromo crater afterward is truly impressive! I really recommend combining this excursion with the Madakaripura waterfall, which is nearby. For me, it is one of the most beautiful natural sites I have seen in Indonesia. Swimming at the foot of these immense waterfalls and feeling all the power of the water falling from nearly 200 meters is an extraordinary experience. You feel so small in the face of this spectacular nature! An absolutely incredible day, from start to finish, and Laila is an outstanding guide. Thank you for these magnificent memories! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would like to provide feedback on the company Smartine and the tour we took as a family in the month of July with 2 teenagers aged 15 and 14. Our starting point was Yogyakarta. The company had booked train tickets for us to Surabaya. Upon our arrival, our guide Dimas was waiting for us, as well as his driver. We got into a very comfortable vehicle. We were on a private tour. We headed directly on the road to our 1st accommodation. On the road, Dimas put on a little karaoke for us to lighten the mood; it was super nice. To keep it from being too long, I will summarize by saying that the hotels offered were very good. The dining locations were also very well chosen. Regarding the visits: - Bromo: there are inevitably a lot of people, but Dimas knew how to find us a slightly more private spot where we were able to watch the magnificent sunrise. The hike afterward in front of Bromo and then at the crater level was magnificent. - Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Very beautiful loop hike with caves, a dip. - Ijen: We did not leave at the same time as everyone else but a little later because we were not going as close to the fumaroles. Very clear sky upon our arrival, not too many people due to this offset, which offered us a very good experience. It is worth noting that Dimas was very attentive to what we asked for. He proposed options, talked to us about them, and we chose. He speaks English very well, is very athletic, I recommend him 100%.

Trowulan tour review: This tour is fantastic. If you are not specifically interested in history, this is a wonderful chance to be introduced to some architectural highlights of premodern Indonesia. If you are at all interested in history, then this tour is a magnificent way to explore the architectural heritage of Majapahit, the last of the great Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms of Indonesia, and one of the most powerful kingdoms in its history. Our guide, Mr. Suryono, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Indonesian culture, history, and religion, and was a superb escort into the rich world of Majapahit. He was also very considerate of our needs and preferences, such as skipping the lunch and heading back a bit earlier to our hotel, as well as sending us names and terms of figured and concepts that we had encountered during the tour. Highly recommend!!

Tremendous seven hour excursion through Surabaya with Diki our guide and Agas our driver. Both were exceptionally knowledgeable of the city and it's history, making stops at the Monumen Tugu Pahlawan dan Museum Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya and Monumen Kapal Selam Surabaya all the more interesting and educational. The tour wasn't just history, though, as we were also taken to the old Arabian market as well as - and trust me, I'm NOT a shopper - a really quite fine and rather enormous gift store featuring everything from the standard knick knacks, to a mind boggling selection of excellent Batik clothing and fabrics, culminating with heirloom-quality antique furnishings on the un-air conditioned third floor. Not usually a fan but, wow. One of the day's highlights, though, was lunch at the restaurant chosen by Diki, the Ria Galleria. Beautiful interior, excellent service, and scrumptious food, this establishment hit all the right spots at just the right time. 10/10, highly recommend.

We missed the meeting point as it was hectic with people disembarking. Do not go out of terminal gates, the company are just outside the terminal doors holding your name. The guide was very informative and our minibus only had 4 guests which was nice and comfortable. Interesting day but tiring. Included extras which wasnt expecting ( the motorbike rickshaw you took your life in your hands) The coffee and cake at the swanky hotel was delicious and included in the price and gratifying seeing about 70 other cruisers all arrive at the same time at the same hotel to know we had very personal service. The points of interest were varied. The smells even more so......especially at the market . Not good. Generally a longer day than we actually wanted but very good guide with heaps of knowledge.

Ryan was waiting for us as we exited the cruise terminal. He was such a wonderful driver and guide, funny, knowledgeable, and willing to adapt to anything we wanted to do. His spoke excellent English which made our trip even more enjoyable. He drove my wife and me in an very nice, almost new SUV which made the trip very comfortable and allowed easy conversation between us all.
