Your Saona Island adventure begins with a comfortable hotel pickup in Punta Cana. On the ride to Bayahibe, put on some Dominican music, settle in, and chat with your group as the day gets started at your own pace.
When you arrive at the port in Bayahibe, the celebration begins. Meet your host, and step aboard for the sail to Saona Island. On the water, the host takes over with music, entertainment, and lively merengue and bachata dance contests, while the open bar serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks . It’s a social, upbeat crossing, perfect for friends, couples, and groups.
Along the way, stop for 30 minutes at a calm natural pool with crystal-clear, shallow water, where you can swim, take photos, and, with a bit of luck, spot starfish.
Then arrive on Saona Island and spend fourth hours on its white sand and turquoise water. Swim, stroll along the shore, nap in a hammock, or head to the bar. Around midday, sit down to a traditional Dominican buffet lunch.
