Night Tea Ceremony Experience – Yobanashi In this tea ceremony experience, you can discover the world of “Yobanashi”, a unique style that can only be enjoyed here. “Yobanashi” refers to a tea gathering held at night. In this experience, you will step into a dimly lit room wrapped in deep darkness, where the space is enclosed by dark curtains and illuminated only by the gentle flicker of candlelight. This serene and mysterious atmosphere invites you to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the “Yobanashi” tea ceremony. Step away from the noise of everyday life, calm your mind, and take a moment to quietly reflect within yourself. Just a 3-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, and conveniently located near major sightseeing spots, it’s the perfect place to stop by and take a relaxing break during your journey. In this peaceful environment, we offer you an experience that lets you touch the essence of Japanese culture through a cup of matcha.

1. More Than Just Deer & the Big Buddha I’ll absolutely show you Nara’s famous sights—but I’ll also help you understand the stories, beliefs and people behind them. My goal is to make ancient Japanese history feel interesting, relatable and surprisingly fun. 2. Explore With a Local, Not Just Follow a Guide I want the experience to feel more like exploring Nara with a knowledgeable local friend. Ask questions, have conversations, stop somewhere interesting and enjoy the city without feeling rushed from one attraction to another. 3. Your Tour, Your Pace Some guests love history. Some want beautiful photos. Others could happily spend half the tour feeding deer. I get it! The route and pace can be adjusted depending on your interests and tour length. 4. Great Memories—and Great Photos I am also photographers, so I’ll naturally capture photos of you throughout the experience. Enjoy Nara without constantly worrying about getting the perfect shot-I’ll help with that too.
