Wonderful walk though the Curi-Cacha Reserve

We really enjoyed the private guided walk through the Curi Cancha Reserve. Jose has been a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He explained all the details about the ecosystem and showed us many different birds. Big thanks to Jose. Highly recommended.

Knowledgeable guide made the experience extra good

Fascinating variety of birds, animals and insects. Our guide, Roy, was very knowledgeable about all the different species. The rainforest canopy is dense so it’s very difficult to see many creatures without a good guide. The hummingbird garden and seeing 3 Spider Monkeys was a big bonus.

"Right place right time" Johnny was a great guide! We saw over 30 different birds!!

Johnny was a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and Friendly guide. He is great at what he does! We saw over 30 birds including the Bell bird and a keel billed toucan actively at the nest. We also saw a couple of Agouti, 2 pigs and a few Coati and went home with many videos and pictures that he took thru the scope!

Nice Experience

Our tour guide was very friendly and did an excellent job managing the schedule. We saw animals we had never seen before in the reserve, making the tour a great experience.

Go with a guide if you want a much fuller experience.

We had an Excellent experience exploring Curi Cancha reserve with our guide Mauricio. We saw many interesting birds that we would have definitely missed without his help. We also learned a lot about the area and its natural history. Going with a guide is definitely worth it and Mauricio was great.

Thank you Roy for a great morning in Curi Cancha! We did not see a ton of wildlife, but Roy still made the morning interesting by sharing history and insights into what we were seeing. At times we wished we could move along a bit quicker but otherwise very enjoyable!

Take clothes for all weather conditions even if it looks sunny when you start! Hiking boots are useful.
