Great day trip to 2 lovely towns
Great day trip outside the city to 2 scenic towns. Lund was lovely, especially the university buildings and walking the off the beaten path quieter streets with their colorful cottages adorned with overflowing rose bushes. The botanic gardens were nice as well but I could have used more time to walk around and enjoy those.

From Denmark to Sweden via Oresund Bridge
Seeing the astronomical clock in the Lund Cathedral and learning about its history was very informative . Crossing the Oresund Bridge that is 5 miles long and is connected to a 3 mile tunnel. The town of Lund and Malmo were interesting but to enjoy the sites more time is needed. Andy our bus driver and tour guide was friendly , interesting and knowledgeable .

Nice tour, much was self guided.
Much of the tour is self guided. The maps provided are challenging. Our driver/guide was great and super helpful and patient. Vehicle was adequate for a group our size, but if the bus is full it would be tight. Wonderful tour to see some historic sights and hear history of the area.

Quick Views of Malmo and Lund
Great tour as far as it went and driver/host was particularly helpful in supplementing the recorded audio and interacting with guests. The tour is too short to cover all the basics. In particular the castle complex Malmo was too far from the stopping point to get to in the time alotted although driver did do a drive-by of the walls. Lund also has more to offer than we could see. However, the tour as offered was satisfying and well conducted.

Öresund Bridge
  • Øresund Bridge is a must-see for those with an interest in architecture and engineering.

  • If driving across the bridge, you’ll need to pay a toll to cross, which paid on the Swedish side. Most guided tours include this.

  • The best view of the bridge is from Malmö’s Ribersborg Beach.

  • In 2015, security was stepped up and random border control checks were implemented. You may not have to show it, but carry your passport just in case.
