What are people saying about Louisiana

J was the ideal tour...
J was the ideal tour guide for our group. She was hilarious, knowledgeable, savvy, and entertaining. She managed to cover a range of topics, including: the founding of New Orleans, colonialism, voodoo, witchcraft, murder, ghosts, music, muppets, and more. Her passion for the city is infectious and I could easily see spending all night learning from her. She also went out of her way to highlight special areas she felt would be of interest and left us with a protective blessing at the conclusion of the tour. I would recommend J as a tour guide to anyone coming to the city! The only people who this tour would not suit are very young children and those who cannot walk long distances or handle uneven terrain. Otherwise, don’t miss the chance to spend the evening with J!

WOW!! Tokyo Drifting in NOLA? Sign me up!!
DO IT! If you are hesitant in any way, don't and just click BUY NOW! I was super hesitant about this. Going back and forth on if we should do the pontoon boat instead and worried about how "fast" the airboat would be and if there would be any concerns of being motion sick, swamp sick, boat sick - short answer, NO, nope, nada! It was exhilarating, educational and so much fun!! Hands down the best of our NOLA experience! + beignets lol Our cap was BePop (?) BeBop.. Bee Pop... something like that. He was funny (dad jokes on point), personable and provided a wealth of information and personal details to the whole experience! This would definitely be something we would do as well as recommend to anyone visiting NOLA to do at least once! And definitely the airboat > pontoon. The airboat covers a lot more swamp and can get into the more narrow spaces while the pontoon does not. It's not fast the entire time as he will slow down to see various things and even stop to provide details of the ecosystem which we found really interesting. We loved it! And if you are able to, opt for the smaller group. It's more intimate and all our questions got answered. We got lucky with a fun bunch! If you are staying in downtown NOLA they offer hotel pick up service, I would recommend doing that as well. There isn't a need to get a rental just for this excursion unless you need to it to travel elsewhere while in NOLA. And I would advise against an Uber because getting back to downtown NOLA after the excursion might encounter a long delay because it isn't like a whole bunch of Ubers are just close by the swamp areas. ;) Have fun! You won't regret it! P.S. We were able to hold a baby alligator and I had to talk myself out of smuggling the little guy home. Who knew alligators could be so cute - and it was SOFT!! *mindblown*

Much needed nature break!
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was nice to get out of the city and into nature. It was prettier than I expected and it was so great seeing alligators in their own habitat, as opposed to an alligator attraction. I highly recommend taking this tour!

Great Aquarium!
My partner and I had a lovely time at the aquarium and very much enjoyed their jellyfish exhibits and seeing the sting rays and penguins. We were also very pleased with the cheaper price that Viator offered. It was a fun little daytime excursion that was a nice break from the heat and humidity.
