Lima overview
This is a blend of a driving and walking tour. Juan gave lots of info about Lima as the driver handled the traffic. I enjoyed the stop at Parc d'Amore. I would have liked a bit more time there as the ocean was beautiful! The historic district was lovely. The catacombs visit was enlightening! We sampled 4 different types of pisco sour recipes. Pretty tasty!

There was an accident...
There was an accident with our original Guide so they told us they had to cancel it when two other girls that were variance, insistent that they find a another guide they finally did talk about 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad, but they didn’t look for another guy on their own, which they should have done

Great City tour with informative guide and driver!
We booked this tour on short notice (night before) and we're pleasantly surprised to discover were were the only two on the tour - so a private tour!! Karolina was our guide and we also had a driver so Karolina was able to speak to us without distraction and communicate with the driver on dropoffs and pickups at the different locations we visited. At each stop we were given the opportunity to walk around while Karolina explained the area of the city and talked knowledgeably about Peruvian history and culture. Each stop had it own personality and we got a good feeling for the area and personality of the neighborhood. Each stop was unique and the tour gave us great insight into the city. We went to:
1. Fishermans Wharf
2. Barranco neighborhhood
3. Love Park
4. Hauca Pucllana
5. Local market for tasting of unique fruits
6. Cevicherria
7. Plaza de Aarmas
8. San Francisco Monestary and Catacombs
We were also fortunate to be touring during the Santa Rosa festival so we were able to view the procession and the beautiful street art.
The included lunch was also delicious and our guide called ahead to order so we didn't have long wait.

Solo in Lima
Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took our group to the key spots and highlighted important points for all of us. He knew the history as well as interesting additional facts. He made sure to find me at my drop-off location and made sure I had my transportation back to my hotel. I felt safe the entire time, met some great people, and really enjoyed the experience.

An amazing experience
Yoced is a charming, funny and expert tour guide. As a solo female traveller, I was slightly nervous but from the moment I arrived, Yoced was attentive and kind. I had questions beyond the food tour and Yoced was ready to answer all of them really thoroughly. It felt more like a conversation with a knowledgeable and funny friend rather than a tour you pay for. He made sure everyone in the tour was happy and taken care of. If I visit Lima again, I'd love to go on different tours with Yoced.

Amazing food tour in Peru
We truly had an amazing experience. This was, by far, one of our favorite food tours in Peru.
What made it especially memorable was our guide, Arthur Paz. His passion for Peruvian culture, history, and cuisine was genuinely contagious. He was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, approachable, and wonderful with our family, taking the time to answer every question and share the stories behind the food in such an engaging way. It was clear how much he truly enjoys what he does and how proud he is to share the richness of Peru with others.
A special thank-you as well to Arthur and our driver for going above and beyond when my son left his sweater behind. They immediately let us know and helped make sure we got it back. That thoughtful gesture perfectly reflects the level of care they put into creating a memorable experience.
We are very grateful for such a wonderful tour and highly recommend it.

Lima’s a Strong Contender for Best Food!
What a great little introduction to Lima and the Peruvian food culture. Sheyla, our tour guide, really gave a great history of where we were, where we were going and what we were eating. It also helps that the food on the tour is SUPER DELICIOUS. Would love to recommend this tour and Sheyla to newcomers to Lima.

The best Peruvian experience!
Sooooo amazing! This was more than just a cooking class. It was a wonderful way to learn the culture and make new friends. Johanna and Fabricio made everything so comfortable and easy. Truly a perfect way to end our time in Peru. If you are a foodie, a novice or expert cook, you must do this!!!

Tour down memory lane
It's a great way to see Lima for the first time (or even a second time around for me). Having been to Lima 16 years ago, it was nice to see how some of the places I've been to have stayed the same and how some have changed. Since I was the only English-speaking person in the group, I got to be treated to a special tour with Juan Carlos(?). Instead of going the usual route like I've been to before, I asked him to take me to the not-so-visited parts. Also, we recreated some photos I took from 16 years ago in the main plaza. It was a total highlight!

Fun day
Vilma was super informative and could answer any question we had as we walked through downtown Lima. She had perfect pacing to let us see everything and linger at sights we thought were stunning while beating the crowd to all the cathedrals and buildings. She also gave us great advice of where to get coffee and a snack throughout the day. Overall just a fun and informative day around Lima!

A fun and fulfilling day!
An all day event that will surely tire you out! Be prepared for a long journey in the bus. There are stops along the way, but we started at 5AM and ended at 10PM.
If you book this event, I would recommend making sure you get a good sleep the night before and you are not doing anything too hectic the next day because it does take a lot out of you. The places we visited were pretty incredible! It really felt like each area was its own separate unit or island. There isn’t really much time during your stops to “shop” around so don’t expect to be able to purchase souvenirs at this time! They run a pretty strict schedule! Alvaro, our guide, was friendly and very clear with instructions.
I would recommend this trip as it was lots of fun!
If you get sea sick/motion sick, bring Dramamine!
The ATV riding is very intense, tread carefully if it’s not typically your cup of tea. Wear sunscreen and a hat! Bring a bandana to cover your face and shades to protect your eyes from the sand.

This was an excellent...
This was an excellent adventure that included a history of cacao, the bean-to-bar process, a chocolate tasting session which included different bars from 100% to 70%, and pouring our own chocolate into molds, making our own customized treats. Angelina was the Master of Ceremonies and was AWESOME!!!
