Much better 2nd time!!

2nd night, 2nd try...and the Auroras cooperated and showed up. Our same guide as the night before (when we saw nada, and got ice cold soda's at the end 😂) took us to many places where we viewed a great light show. The hut in the Forrest that we stopped at was a wonderful experience too! (Wish we had stopped here the night before as well when we saw NOTHING... it would have softened the disappointment!) Tracy, our hostess at the hut, was cooking sausages and had warm glogi for us~ much appreciated in the sub-zero temps! A great evening and we still got those ice cold Finnish soda's at the end when we were dropped off😉😂 Moral is~ you never know if it will be a night of lights or a dud... so best to book MULTIPLE excursions and try as much as you can!

Tiring day but worth the effort

Was sceptical about booking this tour as it's a 50-50 chance but saw the reviews and went ahead with it anyways. I badly wanted to see the Northern Lights and of course capture a photo in person. Glad it all came true. Paul and SK were amazing throughout the tour and the bus driver too. Took all the effort to take us to Sweden as Finland was cloudy and we saw the Northern Lights exactly as advertised. Could only get the green aura but then can't ask for more after 4 hours of travel and hunting. Gave us hot coffee in the office initially and then took the perfect pictures for our social medias. Paul and SK were very enthusiastic and took multiple photos of everyone to feel better. It was the perfect tour and happy it all came down so well. Would recommend you all to book the tour as even though it says it's chancy, rest assured, it's a 90% chance of being successful as the tour group goes all in and takes every effort to make it come true. Lapland Roveniami overall has been amazing and very glad to visit the North Pole at least once in my lifetime.

Good experience and fun!

It was super nice tour! Everything was on time with clear instructions. Our guide Vanessa was very friendly and helpful. By husky farm people was super kind! They took extra care about our kid. We had enough time to see and pet dogs. They eere all very friendly. Its rescue dogs and it was very good to see the job people are doing there!

Most unique way to see the lights

It was so amazing, unique. I did as a surprise for my bf for his bday . Our travel guide , I believe his name Victoria, was so nice and play his part and told the other passengers to play along . On our way to the lake he stopped showed us the beautiful aurora lights , took pictures than we were off to . In the cabin he explained everything suited us up . He took videos and pictures each of us getting into the lake . Turned the lights off ( but he remained right on the dock ) so we have can see the light to the fullest. 😍😍 As coming out he helped me since I got stocked 😂 on the ice 😂. After taking the suit off we had hot tea , cookies . My bf had an amazing time ! These survival suits are fun to float in !! No water got in! Highly recommend this activity since it’s super unique!! 😍😍😍

Best day ever

Our snowmobile experience today was amazing, one of the best things I've ever done in my life! Our guide Nacho was so passionate, professional and helpful. His instructions were clear and we felt confident once we started. Our seven year old son was transported in a heated pod by Nacho which was awesome for him. Perfect, seamless, professional experience

We had an incredible experience booking our Husky Tour. We had transport directly from our Airbnb to the kennel - Soulmate Kennels - near the Finnish border. The driver was friendly and talkative. The kennel itself was amazing. The dogs looked healthy and the scenery - oh, my, god. Endless taiga forests covered in snow and blue sky above with sunshine peeking through. The husky slushing itself is hard work - I much preferred being in the sleigh! The transport back was flexible and the driver was willing to drop us at Santa’s Village, despite this not expressly being included in the booking. We HIGHLY recommend this tour company.

Exceeded all expectations!!!

It was my boyfriends 30th so I wanted to book him some amazing experiences for his time in Lapland. We found Snowride Lapland for snow mobiling (something he’s always wanted to do). This reindeer safari was one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences we had in Lapland — truly a winter dream. The whole ride felt like stepping into a postcard: endless snow, silent forests, and that calm Arctic atmosphere that makes you slow down and just take it all in. The sleigh ride itself was magical — simple, quiet, and honestly the perfect way to experience Lapland nature in such an authentic way. Feeding the reindeer afterwards was also such a special moment, especially if you love animals and want a closer connection with the experience. One thing I really appreciated was the customer service and how attentive the team was. My partner and I were staying in Ivalo (around 45 minutes away) and I didn’t realize how far that was when I booked. The guide noticed immediately and messaged me right away to confirm our location, which I honestly appreciated so much — it saved us from last-minute stress. They also helped us arrange transportation and explained the options clearly. We ended up booking a private round-trip shuttle for 220 EUR for two people, which was super convenient and smooth. It’s not included in the tour price, but the fact that they proactively caught the issue and helped coordinate everything made the whole experience feel well-managed and cared for. Not a “meh” at all — but if you’re going in early January, bring very warm clothes. Highlight of my trip!

Loved this excursion! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our driver/guide was friendly and helpful. The reindeer park was very authentic and our guide there was genuine and experienced. The husky ride was a bit commercial but was such a cool experience regardless. The whole tour just the right amount of time, and not too strenuous. It was a small group size (there were 5 of us) so it felt more personal.

A wonderful day

We had a wonderful experience today at the reindeer farm. Our guide and photographer were great and the sleigh ride was magical. A Successful Hunt Due to Persistent Guides

We had a great experience on this tour. Our guides were Santiago, Leevi, and Max. They were in good communication with other hunters and were persistent in finding clear skies; we drove all the way to Sweden and it paid off! We were on the group (bus) tour and we departed at 7:30pm and returned to Rovaniemi at 2:30am as most of the northern light activity occurred just around midnight. Wear ski pants if you have them as we did traverse some pretty snowy terrain to get away from the road. Guides were friendly, professional, persistent, and provided a link to download all the pictures they took of the tour participants. Great experience for us!
