Go hungry! My husband...
Go hungry! My husband avoids gluten and Ruth made it a point to take us to places that would have foods he could eat. We learned about the origins of the foods we ate, went to a couple of Chinese temples, and everything we ate was delicious. Thank you so much Ruth!

Great Tour
Very interesting tour. Our guide Lawrence was so knowledgeable and interesting. He not only told us interesting facts about where he took us and what we saw but also about other facts relevant to the history and the culture or the different temples. It really was a good tour. I deffinately recommend it to anyone visitoring KL and hopefully you get a great guide like Lawrence

William is the best
William the tour guide was very quick on his feet and made a last minute adjustment to the trip itinerary so that we were able to enjoy our trip as much as possible. There was known high traffic of travelers flooding the Batu caves in the morning of our trip so William changed our plans so we did Batu caves second and highlands first to avoid large lines. We arrived at the cable car for highlands before a very large group of tourists arrived and William made sure he prepped us with a game plan on how to navigate the cable car station so that we could make our way up before the masses, and it was successful it was a good call. When we went to Batu caves there was not much crowd at all and even though we only had about 1.5 hours there, with the small amount of people there I was able to explore all of the temple and cave area, it was a lot of fun. Also, before we got to Batu caves, William did a great job giving us the history of the place so we know which gods were worshipped in which areas and gave us an idea of what is was all for, it made my experience seeing all the temple that much more special as I was able to give prayers to the right gods for the right things. He also did a good history for the highland but I really appreciated the Batu caves most. He did a good job providing balance of education and funny commentary, and giving us quiet times to relax and enjoy the ride

It was a long day but so...
It was a long day but so worthwhile. The highlights for me were the tea valley and going to the waterfall. I was only expecting a basic lunch but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a buffet at the golf course! Throughout the day Mani was informative and friendly. At the end of the trip, as well as dropping off people at hotels he let me jump out near to China Town and gave me superb directions that I didn’t need to look at Google Maps at all

If you prefer to base in one city rather than switching hotels every day or two, day trips from Kuala Lumpur bring great swathes of Malaysia within reach. From the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Melaka to the Cameron Highlands tea plantations and the modern planned city of Putrajaya, there’s culture aplenty. Or take the time to discover nature, whether hiking tropical forests, getting up close and personal with orangutans, or gliding through mangroves thronged with fireflies.
