Check the weather forecast first and ensure its not a rainy day. Best time to vidit msybe summer months.
It was a very different sort of tour - leisurely but informative. Supposed to be 12 hours but because of traffic delays, it was 18 hours. Darwin, our guide, was very apologetic but traffic was out of his control. 14 in our group - all different nationalities. Lunch at the Golf Club was delicious
this trip is very good and MC provides lots of interesting information and he makes a fun. Highly recommended!
It’s a nice tour to the cameron highlands and surrounding interesting areas around it but please note that it takes +12 hours to complete.
Very long drive due to congestion it was more than 15 hrs, but nice landscapes to look at. Great driver and good guide
Good trip. Experienced driver and guide Charlie. Remember to take local currency to enjoy more as card is not accepted in most places.
The tour was a big day 6am to 8pm. The tea plantation site that we expected to be the highlight was not. It was tacky and the site over commercialized. Some staff at the tea plantation were unco-operative and rude.
It was a long day but so worthwhile. The highlights for me were the tea valley and going to the waterfall. I was only expecting a basic lunch but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a buffet at the golf course! Throughout the day Mani was informative and friendly. At the end of the trip, as well as dropping off people at hotels he let me jump out near to China Town and gave me superb directions that I didn’t need to look at Google Maps at all
Nice view! Memorable experience at the Agro Market when flocks of birds suddenly flew circling around. The duration took more than 12 hours, should have allowed food and drinks in the bus. If not, more adjustments and planning need to be done. The tour guide should be more open to questions and jokes, especially some questions are general and not sensitive. Despite some stupid hiccups, some companions are fun.
Communication was excellent from the guide. Pickup was on time. All throughout the day everything was very well explained and informative. Our lunch was delicious.
Cannot fault the tour and our bus driver was very good.
A really interesting experience. I didn't know what to expect but I learned a lot during this tour and Gerard was a fantastic guide. If you have a bit more time in KL and fancy heading North with a slightly cooler climate to learn about this Jungle region then I'd definitely recommend it.
The 3 hour ride (half of which was quite mountainous), was a bit rough on my stomach. However the experience we got out of it was amazing. Especially recommended for people who have a shorter stay in Kuala Lumpur only, so that you can see the country side of Malaysia and its indigenous people and their lifestyles.
Great tour of the Cameron Highlands! I highly recommend! The trip takes you far from Kuala Lumpur to the beautiful Malaysian countryside. I had so much fun!

The Cameron Highlands area is a great trek out of the city of KL. Learning about the agricultural offerings of the area was very interesting. The tea plantation was beautiful…. Our favorite stop. Lunch was delicious. Our guide Sasi was knowledgeable and very nice.
This tour exceeded expectations from start to finish. Gerald is hands down one of the best guides I’ve encountered in my travels — funny, enthusiastic, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great time. He brought real energy and personality to every stop.
The Cameron Highlands themselves are stunning, and the tea plantation area was a highlight — beautiful scenery and fascinating to learn about. What really set this tour apart was the visit to an indigenous community where we actually got to blow darts. That kind of authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience is exactly what you hope for but rarely get.
Logistics were seamless too — the bus was spotless and comfortable, and the driver was skilled and incredibly courteous. The whole operation felt thoughtful and well-run.

A very early start for hotel pick up 5:40am. Well organised and knowledgeable guide. Felt safe on the drive through picturesque scenery stopping at strawberry farm, flower farm and waterfall in addition to the main tea plantation.
We had a wonderful experience on the Cameron Highlands Tour with Lunch from Kuala Lumpur, and Mr. Khelvin was an excellent guide. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire journey.
The drive to Cameron Highlands was very comfortable, and Mr. Khelvin shared many interesting facts about Malaysia, the region, and the tea plantations along the way. His explanations made the tour much more engaging and enjoyable.
The scenery in Cameron Highlands was beautiful, and visiting the tea plantations, local farms, and markets was a great experience. Lunch was also very nice and well organized.

This was a fantastic tour - Gerald our guide was so knowledgeable and interesting - we absolutely loved the Cameron Valley Tea Plantation, Agro farm and waterfall. I would thoroughly recommend this - and a delicious lunch was included too.
Very good the driver and the tour guide were great. We had enough time in each of the areas we visited. The tour guide Melvin was very knowledgeable and gave us enough information of the history and the current events in Cameron Highlands.
Old coach with broken window by door taking you to venues for you to spend money. Best bit was meal at golf club. Picture on Viator website is very mis leading. You get taken to small tea plantation with a sign you can walk to on a small hill.
Great way to visit the Cameron Highlands from KL. Our guide Melvin was the best. He gave us information about the areas as we were moving through & even helped someone struggling with motion sickness on our way back to KL. I felt that we had enough time at each location and the tour did not feel rushed. The bus journey was comfortable and traffic was not bad due to Ramadan and it being a weekday. I just wished the stop on the way back had some more food options because I was quite hungry at that point. Highly recommend.
This tour is not worth the cost and the time. It is too long i.e. almost four hour trip one way without any offer for pickup. Nothing exciting.
MC did a great job setting expectations for the guided tour and explaining each stop. The day was at a good pace and the timing of each spot felt adequate. Coordination leading up to the experience was well-communicated. Chandran and Robert were our drivers taking us safely from one location to the next. The option for a pick-up in the morning and drop-off in the evening was especially convenient.
Great tour. Pack an umbrella and rain coat incase needed. The tea plantation is definitely a highlight.
My spouse and I enjoyed the tour. There were a couple hiccups, but overall we had a good time. The best parts were the agro market, my wife really loved being out in nature and amongst the tea plants, and seeing the beautiful forrested route was nice. Be advised that you don't get to actually see the process of tea making and the tea factory is closed on Mondays, though I don't think we would have toured it either way. I have to say that a 4 hr ride there and back is a bit much, especially since you dont get to see any process of tea making. Therefore, it would be cool to stay a night or two in the Cameron Highlands if your schedule allows. It's very peaceful and the scenery is beautiful and relaxing.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable, told us about things along the way, and had a friendly demeanor. For planning purposes please be aware that the time of this tour shifts a bit. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of as I'm sure pickup locations influence pickup time. During the local lunch the tour guide made sure the country club was aware of my pineapple allergy. A portion of two of the dishes were specifically prepared without pineapple for me, which I truly appreciated. The food was good and we received hearty portions.
The bus was well air conditioned and clean, however there was a strong smell of mildew that lessened over time but never went away. The bus didn't have a bathroom, but we stopped at decent bathrooms about 2 hrs in on the way there and back. If you get cold easily I'd bring something to keep warm, as well as a snack or two because lunch is at about 1 pm, and depending on traffic you'll get back pretty late. At the strawberry farm the guide gave us each a pack of strawberries, which was really sweet.
On the way back we made a stop at a small village, and were told it was to see a man blow a pipe. I believe the stop was to give the breaks on the bus time to cool off since we were traveling down hill for quite a while (though that's not what we were told). I felt out of place walking through the village because that is where they live, and I didn't like the thought of them being on display. This stop lasted approximately 20 minutes. The traffic was horrible on the way back, so we took an extra bathroom break which was thoughtful.
My only major issue was that the tour stated we were to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel, but they tried to drop us off at a busy intersection with only haphazard instructions on how to get back to our hotel. The tour guide tried to convince us and another lady that our hotel was just across the intersection and up a hill. We're not from Kuala Lumpur, and we intentionally book with tour companies that will pickup and drop off at our hotel because that helps us feel safe. We insisted on being taken to our hotel because we didn't know where we were and felt uncomfortable. I don't think the driver or guide were happy with our remaining firm about the drop off location. Under the right circumstances we may have been ok with walking but we're two females, it was almost 10pm, we had numerous bags from shopping, we were tired, and we weren't given clear instructions on where exactly our hotel was.
All in all, this we saw some cool places, and enjoyed the tour.
A beautiful and refreshing escape from Kuala Lumpur. The tour was smooth, well organised, and filled with stunning scenery. The tea plantations, strawberry farm, and cool mountain air made the day feel peaceful and enjoyable. Our guide was friendly, informative, and kept everything running perfectly. Highly recommended for a relaxing nature experience.

The Cameron Highlands tea valley was absolutely the highlight of this day tour. It was so much fun to hike up to the Cameron tea Valley sign to enjoy the view. Our tour guide Darwin was very informative and fun. Our driver Mr Ravi was a true professional as the drive was not easy on those narrow roads.
Very fun! The host, Charlie was nice and polite. We did not feel rushed and had a great time going from stop to stop
