What are people saying about Kobe

Sara_G, Oct 2026
Kobe to Kyoto with a local expert.
Kazuo, a former English teacher, communicated right from the start to make sure we designed a nine hour day with everything we hope to see. He picked us up at the port terminal and Kobe and brought us right back at the end of the day. it was fun being a tourist within and amongst the people by using trains, buses, the subway and taxi to cover the four beautiful cultural spots we chose to see. We can’t thank him enough for his knowledge, great English, always selecting the best photo opportunities and kindness. He helped us navigate the transportation systems like a local and helped us purchase a one-day pass to help with ease and speed. Thank you Kazuo.

A great time, got to...
A great time, got to learn about sake, how it's made, how the barrels are made and a little bit of history around Kobe. We got to taste different kinds of sake and even sake ice cream. It all ended with a beef lunch. Worth the money and the guide was great and really sweet. Can absolutely reccomend!

Amazing Kyoto with wonderful Yuka as our guide
A magical day with a fabulous guide. Yuka was so full of energy and happiness and pride in her beautiful country! Communication prior to our trip was superb and she warmly welcomed us to Kobe. Kyoto Inari Shrine was fantastic and the Golden Pavillion was stunning. The highlight for the day was Yuka! Highly recommend the company and their excellent service.

Sake and Fun. Chicken or egg situation. Recommend.
Great tour. HiroMan was great. Went to 4 breweries. Lots of background and history on Sake production in the region. Don’t drive to the event ;). The tour is located between Kyoto and Kobe. After the tour we did a quick train to Kobe for a meal. Makes for a good day trip.
