Excellent tour of Kakadu!
Our tour guide was excellent! He was not only an excellent driver, but also a well-versed historian. He knew a great deal about the Aborigines. The scenery was stunning! The crocodile boat ride was wonderful, too. All in all, a fabulous experience.

A long day but worth it.
It’s a long day but worth it.
So cool to see the jumping crocs, rock art and Cahills crossing. A real taste of what the NT can offer with a couple of local stops along the way.
Andrew was fantastic, kept us on time and shared a lot of knowledge along the way.
The walk up the rock in Kakadu isn’t for everyone but it’s worth it if you don’t mind a climb!

Great day out and so many things to see.
We went on the trip with Leih. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about every site we visited along with other information about the territory. It’s a long trip but I’d advise everyone to go on it. Bring your charger and a good pair of shoes because there’s so much to look at and photo.

Dani was our guide to for...
Dani was our guide to for the day and was very informative. She knew a lot about the area as that is where she grew up. The day started out rainy but as the day went on it was only raining intermittently. The drive was long but we stopped every hour for a quick break. The area is just beautiful and full of history. Before we got to the park we stopped for the jumping crocodile cruise. Also very entertaining. The cave art was very interesting and the mountains are spectacular.

It was a long day, but we...
It was a long day, but we had a great experience. The Crocodile Cruise was better than expected, as our only previous experience was in a more zoo-like setting. We had a good hike in Kakadu, with Leigh giving us lots of stories. Leigh was a great guide, never afraid to delve into any Aussie topic.

Lovely day trip if you are into nature!
Had a great experience. The tour guide, whose name I forgot (he wears a mullet and likes geology), was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of insight into local history, Aboriginal traditions, and local fauna. A bit of a longer drive, but worth it!

Highlights were the...
Highlights were the jumping croc cruise and Ubirr rock art.
The cruise was a lot of fun, seeing crocs in their own environment was fantastic. Watching the kites being fed was an unexpected bonus!
The rock art at Ubirr was amazing! The stories they must hold over such a long history. Our thanks to the Aboriginal peoples of this Country for allowing us to share this experience.
Tim was a font of knowledge. It was a great way to travel listening to the facts and stories he imparted.
There was a bit of climbing to see some of the rock art and the view of the flood plain. Make sure you wear sturdy shoes and have a decent level of fitness.

When to visit

Plan at least one hour to visit Ubirr to complete the circuit track and ascend the 820-foot (250-meter) lookout, with panoramic views over the Nadab floodplain.
The area around the main rock art site is wheelchair accessible, although the hilltop lookout is not.
Carry plenty of water for this walk, but leave alcoholic drinks behind out of respect for the local culture.
Stay on the marked track to avoid damaging any flora, fauna, or sites of cultural significance.
There are public toilets in the parking lot.
