Great trip on Loch Ness
Great trip on Loch Ness. Lovely boat, clean and tidy with informative commentary. Not crowded so could move around freely. Thank you - we all really enjoyed it!

Awesome day trip
Adam was a great guide who made our day wonderful. This was well worth the money for a full day with amazing history, stories and just overall information about the areas we toured. He made sure we got family photos and were able to hit the highlights of the highlands and enjoy delicious local snacks and a wonderful lunch on the go to make sure we had time to add the Loch Ness cruise. This is the perfect way to learn and explore in comfort and with no stress thanks to Adam!

Great day trip from Inverness!
A very nice day trip around Loch Ness! We are on a longer trip around Scotland and decided to take this day trip to see the castle and take the boat ride on Loch Ness. The lunch stop at Fort Augustus to see the canal was really nice. Charlie did a nice job leading our tour with a mix of humor, story and history. Bonus was the picture perfect weather day!

Best guide ever!
This is the guy you want to take your tour with! Very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The other things you see beyond Loch Ness are probably what make the trip. It’s definitely worth the money to not be apart of a huge group.

Smooth Operation
An opportunity to cruise on Loch Ness with convenient start and finish in central Inverness. Everything was well organised and ran perfectly to time.

Great tour
It covers all that it says and Richie was a friendly informative tour guide. He’s a good driver also( some narrow roads) I do not recommend the optional Loch Ness boat ride as it added nothing to the tour, we didn’t see any signs of an ‘old castle ruins you can only see from the boat’. A walk around ft Augustus and the banks of the Loch would be more exciting.

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on!
Absolutely incredible. Emily was our guide and driver and her commentary was so interesting and insightful and thoroughly enhanced the already awesome trip further. The places we visited were so beautiful and of course seeing the Loch Ness (from multiple vantage points!) was the highlight.
I will say, it may be a bit challenging at times for those with any walking disability (lots of stairs and some steeper inclines) but not completely un-doable.
All in all- highly recommend!!!

Amazing Cruise!
The cruise was great! We had a wonderful time learning about Loch Ness, the myth, the history and the importance of the Loch to Scotland and the UK. It is a relaxing cruise with some informative commentary by the staff. The tour is well paced and very enjoyable! The views are incredible! We had clear sunny weather with cool breezes across the loch. The 2 hours go by pretty quickly, but well worth it!

Fabulous experience!
This experience is very well planned and timed. The stops are well spaced and timed so you don’t get tired! Ending with Urquhart Castle and the Loch Ness boat ride back to Edinburgh through the Caledonian canal was a fabulous experience.
Was more than I expected!

When to visit

Nessie rumors began when an Irish monk caught sight of something unusual swimming in the lake's inky waters in the seventh century.
For more background on the Nessie phenomenon, visit the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition at Drumnadrochit.
Wear warm clothes, including a waterproof outer layer, as it can get cold on the water.
Day trips from Edinburgh and Glasgow generally last around 12 hours.
The Loch Ness Centre is wheelchair accessible, but most boat trips are not.
Bring your camera so you can document any possible Nessie sightings.
