Great trip on Loch Ness
Great trip on Loch Ness. Lovely boat, clean and tidy with informative commentary. Not crowded so could move around freely. Thank you - we all really enjoyed it!

A Grand Intro to the Highlands
A convenient, informative, and breathtaking experience cruising over Loch Ness and then driving to and from Inverness. Urquhart castle is incredible as well, although having less than an hour is not enough time to do everything. Michael the bus driver was wonderful! He was super knowledgable, personable, and had some excellent dry humor. The Jacobite cruise crew were also great. You can’t beat all of this for the price!

Highly Recommended.
This was a fantastic tour with lots of great stops and time to explore a bit at the higher stops. The boat trip across Loch Ness was really good
Our house Ryan was amazing! Friendly, helpful, funny, and knowledgeable!!

Very good introduction to the Highlands!
Wonderful introduction to the Scottish Highlands. The best part was Urquhart Castle overlooking the Loch Ness. Oh, and the brief visit to the Highland Cow farm. We could have spent less time in Inverness, though that could have had something to do with the early timing of our arrival (and therefore too early for lunch). Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant - and he got us back to the cruise exactly on time.

Great day on Loch Ness
Our tour guide Neil was great. He took us to a few out of the way spots around Loch Ness like Dores and a couple really old bridges. Then we had lunch in fort Agustus and walked around the locks (locks, not Lochs). We went up the other side of Loch Ness to Urquart Castle to see that, then get on a cruise to go the rest of the way. Definitely a must do when you're in Inverness.

Loch Ness and Castle tour combo
The Loch Ness tour and castle was a great choice. We just arrived into the city of Inverness and this was a nice duo to add to our packed schedule. I’m glad I added the castle tour into the experience.

A Great Time in the Highlands
We had a great day with Robbie touring the Highlands. He was fun, entertaining and informative. Even though we weren’t able to visit Loch Ness due an accident in the area, Robbie pivoted and made sure we had a wonderful day!

Adventure!!!!
We had an amazing experience. Although we couldn’t reach our final destination (Loch Ness) because of a traffic collision- we had a wonderful time. Our guide Blair was unbelievable! He improvised and we explored a different route. He kept very clam under pressure due to the accident and made the whole experience fun. We could thank Blair enough. A credit to the company.

Best guide ever!
This is the guy you want to take your tour with! Very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The other things you see beyond Loch Ness are probably what make the trip. It’s definitely worth the money to not be apart of a huge group.

An absolutely phenomenal...
An absolutely phenomenal full day tour of the highlands and Loch Ness! Noel was an incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and knowledgeable guide who made us comfortable, graciously took photos for us, and even stitched together a short recap video of our stops. We can't recommend his hospitality enough!

When to visit

Nessie rumors began when an Irish monk caught sight of something unusual swimming in the lake's inky waters in the seventh century.
For more background on the Nessie phenomenon, visit the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition at Drumnadrochit.
Wear warm clothes, including a waterproof outer layer, as it can get cold on the water.
Day trips from Edinburgh and Glasgow generally last around 12 hours.
The Loch Ness Centre is wheelchair accessible, but most boat trips are not.
Bring your camera so you can document any possible Nessie sightings.
