Great Experience
Nishiki Market is a must see in Kyoto. If you dont want to go to Temples and shrines, this a great culinary and visual experience. We tried about 5 foods and then went to a restaurant. We also walked the street of surrounding area. Take a taxi to meeting stop instead of subway. Iko the guide was a wonderful friendly guide.

Wonderful Food Tour
Our guide, Sayaka, was amazing and gave us a wonderful introduction to Japanese cuisine and culture. She walked us through the amazing food court at Daimaru Kyoto, then we tasted local foods at a number of food vendors in The Nishiki Market, and we visited a Buddhist Temple and a Shrine. Our guide was outstanding, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto.

So informative!
Very nice to have a guide through the market since we were unfamiliar with a lot of the foods. Perfect to do right when you get into town! Dineth was very kind and informative.

Loved Ayumi!!!
A great food tour with Ayumi!! She is very knowledgeable and sweet. She made sure we were well fed, helped us figure out which shops were not tourist traps, and navigated us through temple and shrine etiquette. It was definitely more than a food tour with her (but still with excellent food and drinks). We really appreciated her recommendations and came away with full bellies and hearts 💜
