Top French Riviera Day Trips

The tour was lovely and our tour guide, Cedric, was awesome. He was super knowledgeable and affable. The three chateaux were a great mix of old world and super small batch, we bought three bottles to take home. We had one of our best days on our vacation on this tour!

Stephane was our tour guide and was excellent. He gave us great detail about each stop and had great parking places to drop us close to our walking destinations. He spent the ride to each stop giving us background about our upcoming stops and helped us maximize our time at each location to explore. The verdon gorge is stunning.....not as big and magnificent as the actual grand canyon but i understand why it is called the grand canyon on Europe. The tour gives you an opportunity to take a short hike to the bottom of the gorge on the river, then views from the top where you can see for miles, and finally a stop at the end of the gorge on a lake where you can rent a boat or kayak for an hour to paddle into the gorge on the river. I got some stunning pictures. The little towns we visited were quaint and beautiful before and after the gorge. Stephane was a great guide and we had a great time spending the day with him. One warning, if you are easily car sick this tour is driving on windy roads all through the french alps and it was an issue for my wife and one other. The views and stops were so worth it.

Billie was a wonderful driver and guide. We were given an overview of each area and then we had time to explore on our own. We traveled with children (14, 12, 10) and it was so much easier to navigate with a driver than trying to do on our own. Billie even followed up with the helpful suggestions for food and things to do after the tour.

Amazing tour to Monaco/Monte Carlo and Eze! Our tour guide Franciska was wonderful! Not only was she so informative of the history of the locations we visited, she made sure we had the best experience including tweaking our agenda so we could see the changing of the guards at the palace. She engaged with each tour member ensuring we all had best experiences! Thank You Franciska!!

Wonderful tour and an excellent tour guide! We really enjoyed our day with Felipe. Lucky for us we ended up with a private tour with just me and my husband. Felipe picked us up promptly from our hotel and gave us a great overview of the history of each place we would visit. He had tips for each place we visited including where to find local cats (important!). The route was well-planned and we had a few photo opportunities along the way. Each place we visited was beautiful and unique. Felipe himself was lovely to talk with and he has a great sense of humor. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience on all the places. Some reviews have said no need to go to Cannes but we had a great time there. It is different than the small towns but the views of the city, beaches, and hotels are worth it. Marlon was great driver and guide. He was super knowledgeable about all the towns. Billie was kind, accommodating, and an excellent tour guide. I had accidentally provided the wrong address for pickup, and Billie was extremely understanding and gracious. She was able to reconfigure the tour a bit and took extra time for us to get the full experience. I am extremely grateful for her thoughtfulness. The tour was carefully curated but still with adequate independent time. Five stars. Enchante!

It was an amazing tour. Antoine (Tony) is very knowledgeable about the history of French Riviera regions. He stopped and pointed out many important and interesting historical facts. We all enjoyed this entire tour and would recommend to everyone without hesitation.
