Great experience at the docks!
The Heritage Ctr. was right on the dock and easy to locate. The individual stories were heartbreaking, but with the well done exhibits, brought them to life. Being given a ticket for a specific passenger made it even more interesting. We highly recommend the experience!

Excellent museum experience!
Excellent interactive museum. We were given the name of an emigrant to follow through the museum as if we were the one experiencing it. Very clever way to keep us engaged. We also enjoyed an amazing Irish scone with cream and jam, and an excellent cuppa.

Worth the price of admission
So many exhibits to see and presented very creatively. It was definitely worth the price of admission.

Fun little museum!
There is a genealogy consultant inside and access to ancestry.com! There is a lot of information about the different waves of emigration and uses of the port.

Informational and educational. History of Ireland and Titanic artifacts and history included.
It was very close to where our ship docked and was a wonderful and informational experience. They have refreshments and wonderful gift shops. Afterwards we enjoyed our walk through town. Definitely glad we purchased this excursion.

Nice emigration museum
Nice museum and good historical information. I was not aware of the numerous reasons for emigration from Ireland so this was an eye opening experience. Their is a very nice gift shop and cafe as well.

Definitely a "Yes" on things to do in Cobh!
This place was great! We stayed in Cork City and took the 25 min train to Cobh. The Heritage Center is a 4 min walk from the train and if you want to go to the Titanic museum it's just another 4 min walk beyond that. All of it right on the water. The Heritage Center has a lovely Cafe with scones and coffee right before you enter the museum. The museum is self guided and has a good mix of things to read, listen to, and watch. You can even learn how to type Morse Code. We spend about 90-100 minutes here as we had only given 2 hours and didn't feel rushed. Plus, anyone who finishes early can enjoy a coffee in the cafe.
