Our great adventure starts visiting one of Ireland’s greatest treasures Blarney Castle, the home of Blarney Stone also known as Stone of Eloquence. Do you know if you kiss the stone, it will give you the gift of eloquence? Blarney Castle is more than a castle, it is a complex building divided in different parts: chapel, banqueting hall & family room, young ladies’ bedroom, the dungeon, the great hall, the kitchen… After this visit to the castle, we will drive to Cork where we are going to enjoy a panoramic tour (we don’t stop to visit sites). You will learn the history of English Market, one of the world’s oldest municipal markets, St. Anne’s Church which is known for the famous Shandon Bells tower. We can´t leave Cork without visiting the famous Jameson Distillery, during the tour you will be shown how whisky is made and you will be able to taste it. Maximum 25 pax ( adjustable times based on the schedule of your cruise) PLEASE NOTE: WALKING INVOLVED MISSING YOU ALREADY!!

This day tour takes in the most scenic sections of the famed Ring of Kerry and the beautiful towns of Killarney and Kenmare. Leaving Cork, we travel straight to Killarney town, the main town on the Ring of Kerry to soak up the atmosphere before heading down to the stunning Ross Castle on the banks of the largest lake in Killarney National Park. After a stroll around the grounds and perhaps a guided tour of the castle, we continue to the picturesque Muckross House and Gardens. This hunting lodge once accommodated Queen Victoria and its location on Muckross lake is second to none. Enjoy the formal gardens or perhaps decide to take on the experience of a jaunting cart trip or a guided tour of the House or local traditional Farms. From Muckross we continue on the Ring of Kerry route stopping off at Torc Waterfall and Ladies View before we pass through the mountain pass of Molls Gap and into the historic Kenmare town. Enjoy some peace and quiet in Kenmare before we return to Cork.

Our private day tour will take you into the hidden heartlands of Ireland to the historical Rock of Cashel. Travel time to Cashel.is 1.5 hours from Cork. The Rock of Cashel is fabled to have been created by St Patrick himself, the Rock predates this and was a seat of high importance in Ireland. Converted to a christian site in medieval times, it is dotted with structures almost 1,000 years old and a visit here is really a wonderful experience. From the Rock, we travel nearby to the medieval Hore Abbey and learn a little more about its development and influence on Irish history throughout the ages. From Hore Abbey, enjoy some time in Cashel town itself known for its great food and atmosphere before we continue to Cahir Castle. This Castle was used in the Film Braveheart and stands remarkably well preserved. One has the option to enjoy a guided tour, go self guided or perhaps enjoy a walk along the riverside before we return to Cork. Travel time from Cahir to Cork is 1 hour 15 minutes.
