What are people saying about Cape Town

It took about 9.5 hours...
It took about 9.5 hours door to door and we touched all the important sights of Cape Town. Table mountain, cape of good hope, cape point, boulders beach, penguins colony and Chapman’s drive were among the notable points. Weather was beautiful as well with bright sunshine. At all spots, we had ample time to see and explore.

Visit the BEST Vineyards & Hit the Tram
If you want to visit the best vineyards and hit the tram in one tour, snag this one with Kevin. He drove and entertained us with stories! I am a wine snob and bought several bottles at Duty Free because the wine is that good, especially Boschendal and Tokara. 10/10 recommend 🥰

Great half day tour
It was an amazing experience. Talent was very knowledgeable and he planned the trip well. The group was amazing and everyone was on time at every stop. We saw the penguins and had an amazing time at Cape of Good Hope. I am glad I did a half-day tour as it was just enough to see everything and still have time to enjoy it.

Loved it!❤️
What to know:
1) it is doable going at your own pace. Just know that it is all uphill for 40-60 minutes.
2) starting before sunrise gives you amazing views of the city lit up in the darkness.
3) a guide isn’t essential, BUT going with a guide was
MUCH appreciated. Idrees had information he shared about the culture, history, fauna, and flora as well as knowing great places for photos.
4) we loved the hike!!!
5) highly recommended!

Penguins near the toilets
Driver on time to get us to Robben island ticket office. Took us inside and waited till boat boarding. Was distracted by mobile when asked for tickets. Was there when we arrived back from the island. The island is well worth a visit. A very moving experience. Saw penguins too at the toilet stop.

Amazing day in the Cape.
Felix was a very safe driver and imparted great information along the trip. He went out of his way to find animals in their natural environment for us to see. The whole day was great. Beautiful scenery, seals, penguins, ostrich and eland. Thank you for a remarkable experience.

Amazing tour! Highly recommend
Werner was our tour guide for the day and this tour exceeded expectations. We got to stop at a winery on the way and then proceeded to have lunch at Aquila before heading out for our game drive that we booked. We saw over 10 different animal species and 4 of the big 5. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience a safari but is limited on time

Brilliantly surreal
It has been a real privilege to get so close to such a beautiful animal. The team at Cheetah Outreach carry out excellent work in protecting these wonderful creatures.
I would also like to give a big thanks to my driver Simba. I found him to be professional, funny and a genuinely interesting person, and I thoroughly enjoyed his company on the road.

Lovely guide and so many wines!
Pace yourself! At each winery you will have the opportunity to try different wines. At some of the wineries you won’t have any food accompaniment. You are able to order a fruit/ cheese platter for an additional fee. Bruce is a lovely tour guide with a lot of knowledge. At the first winery the cheeses paired with the wines were delicious.

A Beautiful Tour and a Great Workout!
It was a fabulous tour. The guide was amazing and the location is breathtaking. It was quite a workout to do the two separate hikes - which are both totally worth it - but make sure you wear tennis shoes or hiking boots and clothes that you can move in. Such a fun tour!

Awesome service, great adventure - the sea and weather plays a huge part in your journey
Utterly brilliant tour - despite somewhat difficult seas!!
Long drive in minivan from city - a little uncomfortable.
Staff were all awesome. A snack and safety briefing then out to the boat.
The day I went the sea was unforgiving - blowing a gale with very difficult sea conditions. The boat took off through the surf like a bucking bronco - which wasn't for everyone.
The team on the boat were fab - informative, careful and always helping the guests.
As with all these things, nature doesn't always play ball, and the sea conditions meant we could not safely go where some of the animals were, which was a pity, and the swell/lumpy sea meant actually spotting things was difficult. I wanted brilliant photos, and I could not get these, So for me a disappointment, however the trip was great and on any other day would have been perfect.

Great workout :)
It was a fun experience and the dunes are gorgeous! We got lucky and the rest of the tour didn’t show up so it was just me and my friend. There were also no other tours around which allowed for a great ‘just us’ experience.
We tried sandboarding as well. It was tough! I do wish thought we could sandboard as part of the ATV experience. We left our bikes and had to walk to and from sandboard place which, in sand and 30C, is not fun.

Cape Town’s coastline, culture, and Table Mountain backdrop make it tempting to stay in the city, but there are a whole host of adventures to be had if you venture out. Whether heading to the Cape of Good Hope or Robben Island, taking a wine tour through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, or spotting wildlife on safari, it’s all within easy reach. Along with expert guides and entrance fees, many tours include a delicious lunch stop, usually with a view, making Cape Town day trips the ideal way to experience the history, natural wonders, and wildlife reserves of the region.
