Top Bistrita How to Get Around in 2026

Step into the pages of history in Bistrița — the medieval Saxon town where Bram Stoker's Dracula begins its journey. Join me, Dragoș, your licensed local guide, for an immersive walking tour through one of Transylvania's most authentic and underrated medieval cities. While most visitors rush to Bran or Sighișoara, Bistrița hides extraordinary stories that few ever discover. We'll explore the iconic Evangelical Church, the Casa Argintarului, the medieval Sugalete arcades and the Liviu Rebreanu promenade — each with stories you won't find in any guidebook. I tailor every tour to your interests — history, Saxon heritage, architecture, or the legend of Dracula itself. Private tours only — your group, your pace, your experience. Available in English, German and Romanian.
