The most magical day in Ubud, Bali

I’ve just returned from the most perfect day exploring Ubud with my wonderful guide and driver, Oka — and I honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Oka is one of the best guides I’ve ever experienced. He was punctual, incredibly knowledgeable and informative, endlessly patient, and had the biggest smile and warmest heart throughout the entire day. Most importantly, he genuinely cared about making sure I had the most wonderful experience possible. He took the time to listen to what I was interested in and what I wanted to see, and then tailored the day perfectly around me. Nothing ever felt rushed, and I felt completely looked after from beginning to end. We visited some truly beautiful places, including the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Tegenungan Waterfall, the beautiful Pura Puseh Desa Batuan Temple, and the Sacred Monkey Forest, where the cheeky monkeys certainly kept things entertaining! 🐒 I enjoyed every single moment of the day, and so much of that was down to Oka’s kindness, enthusiasm and wonderful personality. Beautiful surroundings, amazing experience.

We were picked up bright and early from our villa by our amazing guide Mangdut (Mang). He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Amazing Bali

Highly recommend driver Putu Rustina!!

We booked an 8 hour private car with Putu Rustina and it was phenomenal! He communicated promptly via WhatsApp so we know where he was. He arrive early to our pick up location and helped with luggage! He even had waters for us! Even though the streets of Bali were so hectic, he drove with ease and made us feel so safe! We asked to make a few stops and he even helped take our pictures (and somehow ended up even carrying my bag)! The pictures were great. His English is still a work in progress but there were no issues with communication. He was so nice and professional. Would highly recommend using Putu for your driving needs!

Really great day with the tour guide Santika. He took great care of us and we felt really safe in his car in the crazy traffic and on the windy roads. The attractions were all really good and the lunch was delicious and in a beautiful spot. The swing over the rice paddies was a highlight. One thing you need to be aware of is if you want to take photographs in the waterfall as my teenage daughters did then there is a 2 hour queue by late morning so try and get there as early as possible!

My wife and I had a great time it’s roughly around two hours passing through amazing scenic jungles and stopping twice for beer and coconut We also had a chance to swim for awhile in the river. Our guide was very experienced and we had so much fun, even though The river was slow due to dry season. Totally recommended.
