Combine a touch of fairytale magic with a cryptic puzzle-solving adventure on this private escape room experience. After being locked inside a gnome’s house, you’ll have an hour to find clues and decode a mysterious letter, uncovering hidden secrets and encountering some quirky twists as you try to secure your escape.

Auckland becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you. The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Vulcan Lane, Freyberg Place, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki and Emily Place Reserve. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up. Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Auckland.

Mystery Picnic, Matakana is a self-guided food and adventure experience with a difference. Each destination has been thoughtfully selected to showcase the unique food, places and attractions of the region. Not only do you find out more about your travelling companion but also what the area has to offer. Solving clues and puzzles along the way and ending at a beautiful picnic spot.

Most escape rooms instill a sense of peril and adventure, but not many make you fear for your very survival. Put your wits to the test on this immersive private zombie-themed escape room adventure, where you’ll need to work as a team to survive while completing your mission. This escape room is a real challenge, so you’ll need to keep your head if you hope to solve the necessary puzzles, lest you lose it to the ravenous zombie horde.

Every room that Escapism builds is built for a purpose - to showcase an interesting theme or offer unique gameplay. In Steal The Crown, you are faced with a very difficult room to complete. It's built with greater complexity but includes an extra team member available to assist you in understanding what you need to do. Just like in any good crime movie, as you begin your heist you’ll talk to your man on the outside. He has resources you don't, and he can see things you can't - so Sam is vital to completing this room in time. This is a 90-minute (1.5 hour) escape room.
