We want to show you our garden and collect together the ingredients that we will use for our dishes. We will prepare two types of pasta: ravioli, fresh pasta filled with ricotta or vegetables or meat. and the noodles that we will dress with sauce or with vegetables, or an excellent pesto. we love to show you an ancient recipe for a cake with chocolate pears. a good glass of wine will not be missing and at the end of the lunch we will let you taste our liqueurs.

Fantastic and authentic experience - not to be missed!!

Fantastic, well orchestrated class, a knowledgeable and engaging host, and pleasant participants. Fresh ingredients from this small family farm. Minutes away from the bustle of Sorrento. Our group of 12 made tagliatelle, ravioli and tiramisu which our host finished with homemade sauces that were excellent. Our host had made accomodations for those with allergies by using alternative ingredients, so everyone was able to participate. Very engaging, we’ll worth the time and cost, would highly recommend!!

A great night at cooking class overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius. You simply cannot beat the views at the cooking class. Chef Anna G was absolutely the best! Wine was flowing all night and the cooking was fun and hands on. Highly recommend 10/10!!!

What a great time in Italy! We now know how to cook pasta (ravioli & tagliolini) and tiramisu from scratch! The chef was very friendly and helpful. Great hospitality. We went to the meeting point and then they took us to a restaurant to begin the cooking class! Would definitely recommend.

Very interactive, best part about our time in Amalfi. Maria, Mateo and Samuel were so awesome, we never felt rushed. A marvelous and accessible introduction to making pizza - and reminder of the difference between the traditional way and what has come after. We learned a lot, and we enjoyed our instruction, which was perfectly calibrated to newbies like ourselves. Honestly, if you take just one courses in Amalfi, make it this one!

Amazing experience!

We were met with a warm hello and a glass of wine. The setting is out of this world, set high above the coast on an organic family farm with a restaurant. There was ample food and equipment for us to use. Each of us were able to mix, roll and cut the pasta form Ferdinando's recipe. Making the mozzarella was so easy and fun, made us want to make it at home. The tiramisu was simple and delicious. All in all th recipes were simple and clean but had the best flavor and Ferdinando made it a wonderful experience. I have had a few cooking classes but this was the first that I know I can make at home. A definite book you will be glad.

A Wonderful Experience

What an amazing experience at Chef Barrone Cooking School with Anna G. during the morning session on Sunday, September 13! Anna was AWESOME!!! She made the class so much fun and truly hands-on. We didn’t just sit and watch—we cooked, made our own pizza, pasta, and even made dessert. It really felt like we were part of the entire experience from beginning to end. And the setting is absolutely beautiful! The cooking school is tucked into the hills of Sorrento overlooking the sea, and the glass-enclosed kitchen has a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Naples. It’s hard to imagine a better place to learn how to cook Italian food! We made pizza, gnocchi, tagliatelle bolognese, and finished with tiramisu. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and it was some of the best food we’ve had in Sorrento. But as wonderful as the food and setting were, one of our favorite parts was the people. We met such nice people from all over during the class, and everyone cooking, eating, laughing, and talking together made the day even more special. Great food, beautiful views, wonderful people, and an AWESOME teacher. Thank you, Anna G., for giving us an afternoon in Sorrento we will always remember! 🇮🇹🍝🍕❤️

The BEST cooking class you will ever take.

Gio and his family were so welcoming and made this cooking experience truly unforgettable. Plus Gio is the funniest guy you will meet and had us laughing the whole time. We had a class full of people from all over the world, which made everything 10x cooler. We enjoyed lovely pasta, vino, and tiramisu. At the end, we took a walk around the property and to a beautiful lookout point. It was truly such a memorable part of our trip. Overall 12/10 experience.

Lovely cooking class in Praiano locals’ home!

We loved this cooking class! An absolute highlight of our honeymoon, this cooking class offered a warm, friendly, and fun introduction to Praiano and the local cuisine. The hosts (husband and wife) were so lovely and kind, literally hosting us in their backyard and sharing their family recipes. We learned how to make a variety of pasta shapes and made an Italian dessert. The wine kept flowing and the small group setting was lovely. Recommend!
