Day Trips from Acapulco to Taxco

This Acapulco tour is the easiest way to visit the Tehuacalco archaeological site in just a few hours, without having to plan transport. Hidden in the Sierra Madre Mountains of southern Mexico, Tehuacalco served as the ceremonial center of the Yope civilization. Your half-day excursion includes a guided tour of the archaeological site, a typical Mexican lunch, and hotel or port pickup and drop-off.

Experience the epicenter of Mexico’s silver industry on a full-day tour of Taxco, about 152 miles (245 km) from Acapulco. In addition to navigating, your guide provides little-known facts about the area’s history and architecture and recommends the best spots to purchase jewelry and silver products. A buffet lunch is included for your convenience.
