It was such a wonderful tour as we have never been to this part of Vancouver. Our captain (Alex? from San Diego) was fun and knowledgeable. We saw 3 waterfalls upclose and baby jelly fish. It is unforgetable.

Itinerary

Vancouver is a seaside city's best explored by water. Hop aboard a Zodiac inflatable boat from Granville Island on this tour, and come away with frame-worthy pictures of iconic natural landmarks.

Get fitted into a warm suit during a safety briefing before stepping into the boat. Cross False Creek and stop near the Siwash Rock, an outcrop located near Third Beach and the Lion’s Gate Bridge, and learn about the history of the natural rock formation.

Explore Vancouver Harbour and gain insight into the region's attractions. Sail past the Ironworkers Bridge towards Deep Cove. Enter the glacial fjord of Indian Arm, lined with granite cliff faces—this area is boat-access-only, and is surrounded by untouched British Columbia forests.

Admire the cascades of Granite Falls from the boat; then, turn around to enjoy close-up views of Silver Falls. Your return voyage on the same route: Take in views of Stanley Park, English Bay Beach, and more as you head back to shore.

This was so fun! The wind on the ride was very cold but the warm up suits were great. Marco was an excellent guide and driver. We saw orcas in addition to gorgeous scenery and waterfalls. I would advise taking some kind of face covering to protect from the wind. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing Views

I only had one day in Vancouver, a city I have never been to before. After reviewing a variety of options, I chose the Zodiac tour. I could not have been more pleased with this choice. Captain Ray spent 3 full hours wowing us with his knowledge of this amazing city, knowledge that only a life-long local could provide.

Fantastic experience!

Wonderful “inside look” of the glacial fjord! Beautiful water falls, seals, purple sea stars and trees!

Awesome way to see the city!

Valerie_L, Apr 2026
We only stayed a short time in Vancouver and wanted to do a water tour during our visit, and this one doesn’t disappoint! Our captain, Paul, was super! He told us all about the city, as we headed to the beautiful natural areas to chevk out beautiful trees, snow capped mountains and finding three waterfalls! We saw a bald eagle and seals too! The boat is super fun and the red suits are a must if you don’t want to freeze. We really had a blast!

Amazing trip with a wonderful narrator and Captain!

Eduardo_M, Apr 2026
Captain who was our tour guide was amazing, dropped so many nuggets of knowledge of Vancouver and the surrounding area that I came back planning my next trip! I appreciate the amazing staff who helped us with the suits and the different spots we visited. Next time will make sure to pack a snack or sandwich as the tour was long and my kids got hungry towards the end

This was a great experience from start to finish. Easy to book online and there was enough information about the tour as well as reviews that helped make our decision to do this tour. The warm suits that were provided were pretty comfortable and very warm, we had a sunny day but were happy for the suits! Paul was our guide, we got a lot of history and information. We really appreciated this aspect. The scenery was gorgeous, we saw bald eagles and harbour seals and the ride was fun!

Definitely check this out.

Overall, the tour was a great experience. Our tour guide was amazing she was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and kept everyone entertained with her humor throughout the trip. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, especially the waterfalls, which were definitely a highlight. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. I do wish the route stayed closer to the coastline rather than going farther out into the water, as it would have allowed for a better view of the land and surrounding scenery. It would also be helpful if the tour provided small bags attached to the rails for personal belongings. Having easier access to items during the ride would prevent the need for people to constantly get up and access the seat compartments, which I didn’t get up because I didn’t want to be disruptive. Lastly, I was disappointed that there were no proper children’s sizes available. My daughter was given a men’s extra small, and the excess material created uncomfortable pressure on her stomach, which affected her overall experience. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed the tour, largely thanks to the fantastic guide and the beautiful sights.

Meghan_R, Sept 2025
Marko was a fantastic guide who’s extremely passionate about what he does and happily story tells throughout the trip. It was such a nice day out and it’s the perfect trip to take off season and during the week as we were on the water mostly by ourselves near the water falls during high tide.

Great experience

Great time

Frank_V, Sept 2025
Both of us being seniors, we were a little concerned this might be a little too strenuous. Turned out to be no problem. The zodiac got us moving pretty fast, but the ride wasn't too bumpy. The scenery was beautiful and the guide's commentary was informative. Overall, a great experience.

It's a great fun...

jktsou, Sept 2025
Super relaxing zodiac boat trip to Indian arm and granite falls, the scenery was amazing along the way. Our captain, Ray, is super knowledgeable about the area and history, also a great wildlife spotter! Highly recommend this trip when in the area!

Amazing experience!

Victoria_M, Aug 2025
Had the most amazing time today on the Granite Falls Zodiac Tour. Our guide Simon was extremely informative and also very funny, he provided us with a broad history of the Vancouver area & all the landmarks we saw. He made sure to point out all the wildlife as we came across it! Had an absolute blast and would highly recommend this tour! We also went back to Water Adventures to rent a seadoo while we are still in Vancouver. The location is also super convenient, we got to spend the morning exploring all that Granville Island has to offer before our adventure!
