Great trip to both sides of the island. Harold let us personalize to what we were looking for. We did some shopping, ate some of the local food, had a drink, learned some history and saw the planes at Maho beach. Perfect for our group of 10-70 year olds. Everyone loved it and Harold was a treat to be around. Highly recommend!

Simanie was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made our St. Maarten / St. Martin private tour a wonderful experience. He shared a lot of interesting information about the island, its history, and the different areas we visited, which made the tour both enjoyable and informative. He also went out of his way to make sure we had a great day and felt comfortable throughout. His warm personality and excellent service really made the experience special. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Simanie as your guide.

We had an absolutely wonderful private tour around the island of St. Maarten! The entire experience was informative, interesting, and perfectly paced. Rio took us to all the right places on both the French and Dutch sides of the island, sharing fascinating history, local culture, and hidden gems along the way. Every stop was beautiful and memorable, from scenic viewpoints to charming local spots. What really made the tour exceptional was our guide’s friendly and personable nature. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and was happy to answer questions and tailor the experience to our interests. It truly felt like exploring the island with a knowledgeable friend. Gloria was very knowledgeable about the island and shared lots of information about her experience living there. We climbed into the hills over Philipsburg and into the French side past beautiful hotels and developments. Our first stop was Oyster Pond where we were surprised to find cactus growing on the hillside. We visited Orient Beach (driving past the nude beach!) and stopped to dip our toes in the water. We stopped at a high point overlooking Fort Louis for a photo opportunities (since we couldn't walk up to the fort). We stopped at the market in Marigot where we found a mix of craft artisans and souvenir stands. Our last stop was the famous Maho Beach to experience the airplanes flying low onto the airport runway! We had fun, learned a lot, and got tons of photos of both sides of the beautiful island.

Our driver Simanny was exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating.

Our experience was wonderful. We were running late because of the rain. We arrived 30 minutes after our scheduled time and our driver waited for us. We were greeted with a welcome sign with my name, a pleasant smile, and pleasant attitude. Simanny our driver was very knowledgeable. We curated our tour and Simanny provided us with all the local and historical information. Red Rose even accommodated a last minute request to add one more person to our tour. It was truly the best experience.

We did a 1/2 day island tour with Richard, who was a great tour guide! He’s very friendly and knowledgeable about the island and its history. He grew up on St.Maarten. He’s flexible, depending on what you want to see and do. We loved feeding the iguanas and seeing the monkeys! Had a great lunch in Marigot along with visiting the local market and other points of interest.

What was not to like. We laughed our way around the island, having a great time with Richard. We saw beautiful views, beaches, history and more. We ate an amazing traditional lunch at a local market, tried local beers and saw locals dancing for the crowds. The car was comfortable with cold water, soda and beers in the esky.

We had a very thorough tour of the island. Richard. Our driver, was very informative and wanted to do whatever we wanted. I mentioned that I wanted a particular perfume and he went out of his way to check several stores and we finally found one! We saw the entire island and at the end he dropped us where we wanted to have lunch, rather than back at our condo. A very nice job!

Cornelius was an excellent guide and driver. We really appreciated the personal service and ability to customize our itinerary. He had great suggestions for points of interest and we loved hearing about the island. He was so helpful with my mom who is in her 80s and even had a stool to help her climb up into the van. He always offered his hand/arm as assistance in any walking we were doing. Thank you for making our visit to St Martin so special! It was our favorite stop/island on our 9 island cruise and much of that was thanks to Cornelius. I know I plan to come back and see more of it!

Nice Private Tour

We enjoyed our tour, and our guide was very friendly and accommodating. He took us wherever we wanted to go and pointed out things along the way. We booked a private tour for my wife, my two kids, and me. Our two kids did not come with us, but if they had, I would have had an issue with the size of the vehicle we were picked up in. It was fine for two of us, but if there were 4 of us, it would have been three squished in the back seat and me sitting shotgun. In any event, my only recommendation is to make sure the vehicle you book will comfortably fit the number of people, so you don't end up smooshed in a car for hours of touring.
