All About Raj and Two Islands, Twice the Fun!
We toured the Dutch and French areas of St. Maarten. Raj was on time and communicated when he arrived since we were at a resort that was connected to it's other sister resort and would have only one spot for pick ups (which we found out when meeting Raj). He was very knowledgeable and gave some history along with the gorgeous views. He drove the van and was very safe. You'll see there are many motor scooters on the road and he was very cautious. We hung out by a beautiful, great beach in Grand Case where we had some nice drinks at the Tropics Bar and while there we rented beach chairs/umbrella ($10 each person but you don't have to and can just lay on the sand with your towel). When in Marigot, Raj took us to a spot for lunch (Cisca's) where we had the most incredible meals of jerk chicken and coconut shrimp each accompanied with black rice/beans, coleslaw and avocado salad; the price was very reasonable and the food so tasty. I wish we had more time here to visit the local markets but we chose to have a nice lunch and I guess you can't rush good love in food but the scenic view of the waters were wonderful to enjoy with our meal. As we were picked up first, we got to see Bell's Lookout Point on our own and we hiked up to the top spending about 10 minutes where we got some great pictures then went on to pick up the other guests. For us our last stop was watching the planes land at Maho Beach and that is where we decided to end our tour since our hotel was situated there. We enjoyed the casual walk back on the beach and continued to watch the planes. Overall, Raj was really detailed about so many aspects of the island and one simple attraction he took us to to see was a monument where one sign you see Welcome to the French side and the other was Welcome to the Dutch side. I loved that! Raj is simply a nice, friendly person who enjoys meeting people and showing off his lovely island of St. Maarten. I highly recommend this tour.

Perfect boat and crew for fun!
This was a blast! I had so much fun every time I go snorkeling here I want to snuggle with a turtle and someone finally found one! I got to snuggle with a turtle!!! that’s actually snorkel with a turtle, but you know… I found my very own ray in the water all on my own!!! so exciting the weather was great a little choppy in the water on the way, but it was beautiful! There’s never a bad day when you’re in Anguilla! This crew was awesome, and the boat was fun! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the tour!
We decided to book a private tour in Sint Maarten to move at our own pace and skip unnecessary shopping stops—and overall, it was a great decision. The directions from the cruise pier to the meeting point were excellent. It was just a few minutes’ walk from the ship and very easy to find. Our driver was friendly and accommodating, taking us to all the places we wanted to see. The only small downside was that she didn’t introduce herself, so unfortunately we didn’t catch her name. Although the booking mentioned complimentary drinks (soft drinks, beer, and water), these weren’t offered initially—we had to ask for them later on. Our final requested stop was Maho Beach, and we were hoping to stay a bit longer (until around 2:00–2:30 PM). However, we were told we had to be back in Philipsburg by 2:00 PM to finish the tour. That was a bit disappointing, especially since it was a private tour and we would have gladly paid extra for more time—particularly as the beach wasn’t crowded that day. Despite that, we would still recommend Pelican Tours, especially for first-time visitors to Sint Maarten

Best Tour in Sint Maarten with Jamal
Highly recommend for cruise ship visitors to get a good taste for all this island has to offer. Jamal was a fantastic guide - kept us on schedule and gave us the opportunity to see the best of the island, while keeping it fun and informative along the way. Only drawback and we've found this with every tour booked through Viator - they could use better instructions on meeting location. Rather just saying port location this one should instruct: walk all the way through the port, heading toward the area that says "taxi dispatch", from there head slightly left following signage to "EDC". Once at EDC, check in at the first window. Easy!!!
