Tour did not accurately describe the amount of walking … was not correct 5min turned into 25min and older people were not comfortable

Dear. The only possible way to explore UNESCO old towns is by foot. Unfortunately, 1700+ years old cites do not have streets for vehicles, escalators and elevators. There is simply no legal way to see something this old without walking.

There is no transportation back to your ship. Need to hire Tik tuk.
The guide paid for our tuk tuk.
Our guide Antonia was a book of knowledge combined with a great personality!

Dear, Thank you for your kind words. We do transport guests back to cruise ship. Instead of taking the bus for 45min of terrible traffic on a Saturday afternoon in the busiest passenger port in Europe we paid your tuk tuk to drive you back in 5min. All of our guests have a choice of being driven back to port or staying the old town after the tour.

The tour operator was late. We were told to meet at the cruise port and look for a purple umbrella. They also changed the time from 10:30 to 9:30 and we were told to arrive early so we showed up at 9:15. There were other tour operators with umbrellas who kept asking us if our tour operator had showed up yet. It was very hot outside with little or no shade. It was a small tour for 15 people and had the operator showed up on time we all could have been in the bus not sweating in the hot sun. When she finally showed up late and was nasty to my husband. We decided not to take the tour.

Dear, we are sorry that you had a bad experience but what you just wrote is completely not true. First of all, you did not show up on time, you were early on a wrong location. Secondly, we changed the time from 10.30 to 9.30 because your cruise ship change timing and you would not be able to make it on time back. Thirdly, it's hot, yes August in Croatia is pretty much know for that and us picking you up in the port instead of you walking 20min to the meeting point was our good will, and after all of that, you are the one who refused to take a tour and we have refunded you anyway, which we did not have to and obviously shouldn't have done. If other 13 people were there and 2 of you didn't, maybe it was not everybody else who was wrong. Kind regards from sunny Split!

Our tour guide, Ivana, is very knowledgeable about Split since she was born and raised there. She gave us quite good information about Split and Trogir, and has a perfect English. Our only but is that she is very aggressive. Has a loud voice (seems like yelling). She made it clear she didn’t care about some customers that were late or not showing up, rather than saying politely that there were a couple missing. She also had a loud discussion with another tour guide that “shushed” her (she was very loud). We as customers don’t want to hear her fighting with other tour guides. She must remember that we are customers coming here to have a good time. Not to mention when she said “ah ha! I found the guilty guy driving this bike! I know the license plates and now I know where he lives!” We should not be involved in any aggressive behavior during our vacations.

Very interesting tour, with a knowledgeable guide who had great with great personal skills and good english.
Also loved the small group, just four of us - so got to know two new people and our guide allowed for timing, destination and activity chioce - which was perfect.
Resulting in a visit to the chair lift experience - which proved a superb suggestion from Dennis and really provided great views, especially of our now 'tiny' cruise ship.
The whole Split expereince was excellent and still gave us time to look round Split itself - would thoroughly recommend (in my 70's) as would my grand-daughter in her 20's.
Very reasonably priced too - whats not to like?

We had a great time exploring with Ivana! She is incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour a true pleasure for us. To top it all off, we found a perfect spot to take a dip in the sea right after the tour. Thank you so much, Ivana—highly recommended!

Ivan was absolutely amazing. He was so informative. The weather was hot, but he allowed water breaks and free time in Trogir. All in all a vert good tour.

We had a tour last June 19, 2026.
The tour started okay, but the transfer to Split was chaotic. Instructions were unclear, and half of the group got confused. Numerous clients were left behind in the bus and had to chase the guides who were doing the Split walking tour. During the chaotic moment, I personally tried to contact the guide, but got no response. We were unhappy, of course about the situation. When we rejoined the group we were singled out by the guide and she made a joke about us. It was not funny at all. There is definitely a large room for improvement in terms of communication and clarity of instructions.

Dear, we are sorry for the trouble, but the information gives was really clear. If you want to be dropped of in the old town you have to get of the van, if you want to be driven back to the ship stay on the bus. Not really sure what is unclear in that info.

Fully enjoyed this tour. Guide Ivana was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. She was funny and entertaining. It was a long « half day » tour. 930-330 with a fair bit of walking but not strenuous at all.
Split and Trogir were both beautiful and we loved the tour.

The pace was good. Mario managed to keep our group in the shade as much as possible sparing us from intense sun and heat. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his Country. Only issue was while in the vehicle people in the back couldn’t hear the questions and responses going on up front. He needed a small microphone to project conversation to the back of the vehicle. This was a lovely and relaxed tour, our guides were super, local lassies, with lots of knowledge of the history of Split, the palace and life within the walls. A short bus trip to Trojir with lots of information on the area, time to explore the town as well. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our time in Trogir and Split very much. The free time in Trogir was just enough to see things on our own and do a little shopping. The transportation was a bus that was clean and the driver did a great job. There were 31 people in our group and 2 tour guides. They divided us up so we had smaller numbers with each guide. Both guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our time in Split was also good. Lots of history here to be shared. We enjoyed walking thru the bazaar after.
My only negative comment would be that the tour was a little long on a really hot day. That’s no one’s fault though! We enjoyed our time!

Great tour by Elena but in the 2.5 hours that we spent in Trogir - tour bus operator left the bus off and parked in sun. When we got back on those in back were subject to extremely high temps. It took 15 minutes of driving before hot air was no longer coming out vents. He should have started the bus at least 15-20 minutes before we boarded to allow time for the entire bus to cool.

Such a wonderful tour. Our guide was informative without overloading us on historical minutiae. He was humorous and very proud of his country. The tour was exactly as described. Pickup and drop off were very prompt.

Good communication beforehand on meeting location time. Unfortunately minibus was late due to the traffic. Started the tour in Trogir to make sure we were back in Split and not far from cruise port for ship departure. Very informative tour guide. Both the Palace and Trogir well worth a visit. Personally would prefer a smaller group but still a great tour

This was a great trip with a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide. We went first to Trogir (as traffic was going to be bad early in Split) and it is a delightful, pretty town where we sampled the local delicacy, Rafielo. Then to Split where we were taken round the Palace with our guide explaining all the parts of it. Certainly a trip not to be missed
