We were met by Mijo about 10 minutes before we were due to start. Mijo was very impressive from the start. Having lived in the city all his life, he had in depth knowledge and put it across in a fun and understandable way. He was very personable and answered any questions you may have had. He made a number of recommendations as we moved around the city for both day trippers and longer stayers. I would highly recommend this interesting one and a half hours as a great introduction to the city and great value for money, especially as we got a little bit longer than the advertised time as Mijo was keen to cover everything the group wanted to know.

We were a bit apprehensive when we were the only couple on the tour! However, our guide Mijo was so engaging, and relaxed it felt like a personal tour! He was very informative throughout, was passionate about his home city and provided so many helpful tips as we progressed. On these tours the guide can often be somewhat opinionated but not in this case. He even took us to the best spot for photos which he took of us! Would definitely recommend!

Mijo is very knowligible and also funny. Great voice, so you ear very well. Lots of history covered here, you learn a lot. Not a long walk, easy. Small group so asking questions is easy. I highly recommend.

Very enjoyable and informative 90 minute walk around the old town. Our guide Mio was funny, spoke excellent English and told interesting stories about the history of Split. It was well worth the money and we would recommend this tour.

Wear sensible shoes as the walk is over some very slippery surfaces. Mijo does small groups so it makes it much easier to hear all the interesting history - he also has a great sense of humour and made us laugh a lot! Great way to understand your surroundings. We'll done Mijo (he also passes on lots of tips for places to go & eat etc)

We had a wonderful first day in Split because of this amazing walking tour! Mijo gave us so many good recommendations and super interesting information about the history of the city and the Dalmatian region. My partner and I joined this tour the morning after we got into Split, and it was the perfect introduction to the old town. There were only about 8 of us, so it felt really personal and we could hear everything.
Our guide, Mijo, was super knowledgeable and friendly - he made sure we could ask questions and even gave us tips for places to eat, drink, and visit around the city. He cracked jokes throughout the tour, making it even more enjoyable. A fun bonus was Mijo sharing Game of Thrones filming locations for the city of Meereen.
In just 90 minutes, we learned a lot about the history and culture of Split and Dalmatia. Definitely recommend this tour!

I ended up with a private tour because the other people who booked during my time weren't able to make it. Mijo did a wonderful job showing me around central Split, which is both breathtaking and fascinating from a historical perspective, explaining interesting facts and patiently answering my many questions. Definitely better than most of the free guided tours. Mono is an excellent guide and the small fee keeps the group smaller. His English is excellent. So is his breadth of knowledge about Split.
