We had an amazing time at Dunn's River Falls and the Blue Hole. The climb at Dunn's River was very unique because we climbed up the limestone rocks as the water fall was cascading down. We were able to jump and wade in the water as well during the climb up.
Our guides Adrian and Pitbull were very experienced and put us at ease.
The Blue Hole was beautiful as well. We started with small jumps and then did a bigger jump at the ends.
This was a great tour for our kids who are 9, 11, and 13.
Our driver was Craig who was also very energetic and informative.
We highly recommend this tour.

Our guys at the falls were just as amazing. We had Stucky as our guide and Craig was our photographer/ videographer. We were so impressed by their ability to remember everyone’s individual names. We paid for the pictures and they were totally worth it!

We had booked to go to Dunns river and the blue hole , but the blue hole was closed so they promised to come back the next day and take us which they did !

Really fun active excursion. Since the boat excursion was sold out, we looked into other options, and this one looked good. I’ll start by saying if you’re not relatively nimble on your feet or if you’re not comfortable around the water, then this one’s not for you. There is a lot of walking through rapids, stepping on rocks. Our guides were great, Godfrey was our driver, and at Dunns River Falls we had Trevor Williams and photog Robert. At the Blue Hole we had Courtney and another guide who was a powerhouse. The guides were fun and did their best to keep us safe. Only issues we had were at the port finding our shuttle, they had our name on a list but told us to wait and basically forgot we were there. By the time they sent us to the bus (about 20 minutes in oppressive heat) everyone else was the bus and they squeezed us in. Also, there are a lot of non-tour people trying to sell you stuff, so keep your head down and keep walking. No handshake, and DO NOT let them put objects in your hand! You’re welcome, now go have FUN in Jamaica mon!

The driver did a good job. What I didn’t like and it’s probably not the driver’s fault is at the falls and the blue hole constantly requesting tips. I was going to tip anyway, but all the guides we had blatantly told us we needed to tip them and I didn’t care for that.

Both the blue hole and the dunn falls hike was just amazing.
For the blue hole do ask for lido "the babysitter" as your guide. He was amazing, with a our group where we had kids from 7 to 12, and some with fear of jumping into water. He was patient and made sure we had fun.
Our tour driver was very informative and took good care of us. Showing us some good spots for food, shopping and giving us time to do each of the two experience at our own pace. Over all recommend for everyone.

Our driver, Lenroy took excellent care of us the entire trip. He made sure we were comfortable, assured us he was on our time and was very patient. As he drove us he showed us places in Ocho Rios and told us the history of the place. He also made sure we weren't charged more than regular fee for the pictures at Dunns River. While Dunn's River was beautiful, the guide left us to our own devises. Obviously that has nothing to do with our driver, but it still sucked. We had a good time because we made it so. Blue Hole was smaller but the guys took much better care of us there. Paid attention to our safety and helped us have a good time. All in all excellent experience because of Lenroy, the beauty of Dunn's River and the guys at Blue Hole.

We had a fantastic time! Great itinerary that our cruise ship didn't offer, and Sunshine and Godfrey made it so much more fun. Excellent direct communication via email from the start. Worked with our cruise ship schedule and we were picked up from the port. Felt very safe and that we got completely immersed in Jamaica. Visited 2 beautiful natural sites, got to see lots of the Ocho Rios area traveling to and from destinations, met people of Jamaica, and learned about their culture and language. There were about 22 people on our tour bus. Only complaint is that we had to wait about an hour for some people on our bus rafting on the White River, but we asked our tour guides to take us to a restaurant to get some food while we waited, so we got that culinary experience too.

This was an incredible experience. I would highly recommend. The views are amazing and you get to see it up close and personal. You can choose how much or little you want to do. Our tour guide from both locations were awesome and very knowledgeable. They definitely know how to keep you safe. And our driver Godfrey was super accommodating and made sure we got the full experience and got back safely and on time!! Would definitely do this tour again!

Our family of 4 had a blast today at Dunn’s River Falls and the Blue Hole. Our guide Sunshine and our driver Godfrey took great care of us. We didn’t realize there was a third option to our tour/tubing so that was a little frustrating to find out after the fact but we ended up finding lunch nearby while we waited for the rest of our tour to finish up the tubing. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the everything about our trip! Can’t wait to come back!

Bring water shoes. Wear a swim suit that fits well. You should be in good health and your fitness level should be good to climb a challenging waterfall.

Very good tour, well organised and worth the money. The staff were very accommodating and looked after us. Water shoes are required for this tour however if needed they will take you to a shop so you can purchase these.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Both places are must-sees. This was my first time on an “unofficial” cruise excursion but couldn’t tell the difference. Everything was well-organized and went smoothly, and I’d argue it was better than the cruise offerings.
Bring plenty of cash for all of your guides- they earn 100% of it! (Some people may think they are “pushy” reminding you about tipping, but this is their livelihood and they definitely earn every penny you want to give.) We had 2 guides at Blue Hole, 2 at the falls, plus our guide and driver from the bus. There was also a photographer/videographer at each place; you could buy from them at the end for $30-40. We didn’t bring enough cash with us but were able to use Apple pay for a lot of things, and able to tip our guide + driver at the end with a credit card. (A lot of vendors accepted Venmo/PayPal/Cash App/Zelle as well.)
Everyone along the way was so lovely. Highly recommend! Shoutout to our bus guide Sunshine for keeping us entertained and smiling.

I had climbed Dunns River Falls in 1997 so I wanted to do it again. I was unsure if I would make it but the guide at Dunns River encouraged me and got me to the top. I enjoyed Dunns River Falls more than blue hole and I didn’t do the big jumps at Blue hole. Next time I would probably just do Dunns River Falls.

Ask around among workers at the port to find your driver. Kool Jamaica tours provided a wonderful van and nice friendly driver.
Pleasant easy drive to Dunn’s river falls first. They paired us with a guide and photographer who were lots of fun.
The weather was chilly, and so was the river and waterfalls. But you get used to it soon and it was easy to forget about the temperature when looking at the natural beauty of the falls.
You do have to walk the gauntlet of vendors after the tour on the way back to the parking lot. No one was mean or unsafe.
Blue hole was less touristy, but a similar pleasant experience with a guide and photographer. Lots of jumping into the pools from above. The highest about 15 feet, but most about 5 feet or so. Again, everything felt relaxed and easy, its moderate activity, not for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise not too strenuous.
Our driver stopped at Linda’s for jerk chicken at our request.
I tipped the driver and the guide at each stop. Photos were $40 at each stop by the photographers they sent with us. Alternatively you could take your own photos with waterproof camera or phone case.
Aside from the weather, we had no complaints. We enjoyed our first ever visit to Ocho Rios and the falls and Blue hole.

Our driver Godfrey from Juta tours was terrific, informative and accommodating. The tour at Dunns River was a lot of fun. You can buy photos and video for $40 US which is worth it so you don't have to carry a phone up the falls. The Blue Hole was the best surprise, much less touristic and authentic. Jumping off the cliffs was fun and exhilarating. There were rope swings but we did not do those. Definitely worth the time and money - just remember to bring enough cash for tips!

The staff at Dunn River is very aggressive with tips. If you tip one, they will come around and ask to tip the others and they don’t share.

What a great experience! Check-in was easy, the driver was very informative along the route, giving bits of culture, history, and fun facts. The guides we had at both Dunns River Falls and Blue Hole were great. They were all so wonderful with my 4year old, making sure we all had a time to remember! So glad we found this tour
