Overview
Take a trip down the calm waters of the White River aboard a bamboo raft. Your driver will transport you from your Ocho Rios hotel or at the cruise port a calm section of the river, where you'll hop aboard a bamboo raft with a local guide. You'll then have about an hour to travel down the river, checking out the lush scenery as you float along.

We pickup all travellers from their Hotel , Villa, Condos and guest house Lobby in the Ocho Rios and Runaway Bay Areas only. For cruise ship passengers we pickup from the Ocho Rios cruise ship port only. Port pickup instructions. Pick Up From The Ocho Rios "UDC Port and Reynolds Cruise ship Port (1)After leaving the ship, please make your way outside the port lobby then take right. (2)proceed through the security gate. (3)continue walking along the walking path for about a minute. (4)look straight ahead you will see your driver waiting for you with the "Coopa Tours" sign along with your name. It's about a 5 minutes’ walk in total. Pick Up From The Ocho Rios "Reynolds Pier": (1)After you cruise ship docks. You will make a one minute walk to a small bus park on the port. (2)You will now be able to see the MAIN ROAD from this location . Look ahead through the fence separating the port from the MAIN ROAD you will see your driver with the Coopa Tours sign along with your name. If you are having difficulty locating your driver call the telephone number on your conformation ticket.
Itinerary
Your bamboo rafting adventure begins with hassle-free pickup directly at your Ocho Rios hotel or port and transfer via air-conditioned vehicle to raft launch. Settle in on the raft’s cushioned, shaded seats while your guide steers you down a calm, scenic stretch of the White River for about an hour.
Take in the views and learn about the river’s history and ecosystem from your guide as you glide along, with optional stops along the route for souvenir shopping or a snack and drinks. End with pickup at the arrival point for the return transfer back to your hotel or port.

If you are in Jamaica...Ochi to be exact...you MUST experience the Limestone massage in addition to the rafting experience. We had one of the most beautiful day for the activity, and it was relaxing and super beautiful. Service, from pick up to drop off, was "chef kiss".

Desmond our driver was amazing he drove us to the rafting excursion then also to where we wanted to go after. Noel our raft guide was also amazing, very helpful. Both Desmond and Noel were extreamly knowledgeable, had a great time. Would highly reccomend.

This was a good time. Our tour guide "Daddy One" was delightful. He kept the music going for that Jamaican vibe. We stopped and shopped with the locals and got the stone massage. Great time.

Cooper tours were fantastic. We had good communication while were delayed getting off the ship. Desmond our driver arrived with very nice, clean van. Super safe driver, explained the area as we drove. We got to see the areas outside the main tourist zone. I would highly recommend Cooper tours and Desmond again. No scamming or upsells. It was just what we asked for.

Driven to starting point about 20 minutes away from cruise port and enjoyed drifting along the river- at half way point near the beach I was offered a foot and leg massage which was very relaxing. Driven back via a viewpoint then a shopping mall before returning to the ship.

We were picked up on time in a van at the cruise port. It was a 20-minute Drive to the raft River location. A group of approximately 10 people were on our tour. The raft guides walked you to the raft and assisted you to mount it sidestepping on bamboo boards until you could be seated. They turned on some music and also chatted a bit. They used long poles like in Venice to guide the raft toward the beach which was a short 10 to 15 minute ride. You get off the raft to walk on the beach and admire the water. Nothing much else to do there. Some vendors came by but we're not pushy. Then you returned to the raft and back to the dock. Very easy going experience. Saw two good looking birds but not much else. We found it enjoyable but if you are looking for Action this is not it.

My experience was amazing with Cooper adventures, and the young man that was our bamboo rafter was an awesome person very personable and attentive to our needs. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name, but I recommend this excursion..

Me and my hubby booked with Coopa tours for River Rafting and Horseback riding. Our driver A (I am so sorry I can’t remember her name) was awesome! She made sure we made it safely and gave us a great educational tour while headed to our destination. Michael assisted us with river rafting and what can I say? He welcomed us with open arms and was very respectful. We will definitely visit Jamaica again and hope to book witj this company again! 10/10

We booked the excursion which included transportation and it was amazing. Even though we visited the island two weeks after the hurricane everyone was in great/ uplifting spirits. Both our rafting guide (Shadow) and our driver (Courtney) were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and safe. I’d highly recommend booking with Coopa tours if you are traveling to Ocho Rios!

It was wonderful and relaxing. Our driver, Michael was awesome - he gave us a running commentary on the sights as we were driving to the site. I am very sorry I can’t remember our rafting operator’s name, but he was awesome and truly funny! We had a lot of fun on our trip. Everyone at Coopa Tours was very nice and welcoming.

We went with a fabulous driver and tour operator Cooper of Coopers travel for Jamaica. Cooper picked us up in an extremely clean air con car and was very helpful, friendly and informative. Excellent driver and definitely made the trip memorable. Will definitely book through this gentleman again, highly recommend him.
The bamboo rafting was amazing and would definitely do it again. If you are wanting a relaxing , chilled out activity then this is the trip for you! Shadow was the young gentleman that took us down the river and he was excellent too!

Be careful with the bot agents address instructions if you book online. They gave us the wrong address which took us an hour out of our way. Other than that, the actual rafting experience was really amazing. It's pricey but I felt it was worth it for the once in a lifetime experience. The scenery, our captain, the rafting. 10 out of 10

It was amazing from the views and the service! Highly recommend! Way better sightseeing than the one in Montego Bay. Leads you to the coast of the ocean and you’ll see horses! Will definitely be back.

It was a good experience. Very calm. The only down side is we didn’t get to do the limestone massage. It wasn’t mentioned to us or brought up by anyone.

We had a lot of fun. It was a relaxing ride down the river. The experience on the river was 45 minutes which was perfect for us because we had very busy days the other days.

Rafting was only 10 mins and was booked for an hour. The river was overpacked with bamboo rafting tours causing frequent collisions. Do not book this tour. You will be disappointed.

We do not understand your motive or your intentions but noting you mention is of this experience. Please note that this attraction is certified by the Jamaica Tourist bord and other safety regulators including the fire department.
Therefore only a set number of rafts are allowed on the river each time for Safety reasons.

The the bus driver Desmond and tour guide Hyrum were two amazing people. They both made the experience very enjoyable. Desmond the driver provided lots of information about the history of the areas in passing. He was very pleasant, funny and attentive to our needs. Hyrum made the rafting experience so very enjoyable with his high spirit, music, the skillfull way that he managed the raft and the limestone leg massage.

The actual river ride is not 2 hours. We we're on the water for approximately 30 minutes. We were taken almost immediately where there was a small flea market.

Experience was okay. Pictures made it seem better. Very nice driver and captain. However, the company tried getting over with extra money in the end and I didn’t really appreciate that.
