Moorea is a lovely island. We have used this tour company twice now to tour the island and both times have been outstanding. Friendly, informative and comfortable.

Tehoti our guide was supposed to meet us with a sign with our names as we came off the ferry. Took us ten minutes to find him. No sign. He was on other side of Pier. Told us he would take the four of us to our driver. Turned out he was the driver and guide.
Driver/Guide appeared new to job. Knew about Captain Cook but not the earlier explorers. Tour was 3 hours. We covered 1/3 of Island in 2 hours and drove by rest of island in last hour. Took us to a pineapple processor and left us at entrance. Waiting for us at gift shop where he encouraged beverage sampling. Stoped at a dumpy beverage bar with rip off clothing prices for twenty minutes. Stopped to see a pig sleeping on the beach. Guide drove two fast up wind road to top of mountain and back down. No water on board. Really surprised this was a Viator trip. Not recommended.

This is not what we propose on Viator but will see with the tour guide what happen because he is not like that.
He suppose to show you the best part of the island and also à lot of history.

I’m sorry to report that this tour was not worth the time, effort or money. First the seating in the van is very tight and the AC was blowing out warm air. No AC for the entire tour. The tour guide was very bad. He barely talked and gave us any information about the island unless we inquired. At times my husband and I found him to be rude. One patron asked about popular sporting activities on the island. The tour guide replied, “football and baha.” When the patron questioned what was baha he replied, “ look it up.” Isn’t a tour guide supposed to be knowledgeable about the island?!? At one point I asked if we were heading back to the ship. He responded we were circling the island but never spoke again about what we were seeing. He was too busy looking at his phone.

Donovan was our energetic, informative, and friendly guide on our Destination Highlights (air conditioned!) bus tour of Moorea. He shared much information about Moorea, his (large) family, and what it has been like living on Moorea. We will be planning our return soon. The natural beauty of the island and its' friendly residents in light of living with challenges is captivating. This man was one of the best guides we've had anywhere. For the record, the bus driver
also deserves compliments for his ability to navigate narrow roads.

We were disappointed as Viator excursions are always exceptionally great. The tour started at 1 pm instead of the scheduled 111:30 pm. The tour guide, Selma, was not apologetic and actually started out rather rude and was confrontational with members of the group. Things improved during the course of the tour- she gave some information but she didn’t really answer posed questions. But I suppose everyone can have a poor attitude once in a while.

We enjoyed the tour but thought it would be in a van not a huge bus. There is a van and a bus in the picture advertising. The guide was good and gave lots of info. The sound system on the bus was terrible and made it difficult to under stand much of what was being said

For large cruise ships carrying around 2,000 passengers, bookings are typically arranged using buses rather than vans.

I just want to clarify something. Why did you specifically mention being Black from the USA?
I respect and welcome everyone equally, regardless of their origin.
You book your tour 3 days before the day of service and I sent you a message the day you book it to inform you that this tour is only for cruise ship passengers and that you are not one, I was simply trying to communicate clearly. What else could I have done in that situation?
You replied but not saying to cancel the trip, i was waiting for your confirmation to go ahead an cancel the tour — but despite my message, you still took the ferry over to the island. So between you and me, who really made the mistake here?
You said I was arrogant. But honestly, weren't you more arrogant in how you talked to me by phone ?
Let’s be honest — I just want to understand and clear things up.

Very nice guide who took us to several beautiful places but he explained very little about the island. As we drove along and passed churches, various buildings, etc. There was no explanation of what they were.
The fruit factory was a disappointment as we were expecting fruit juice and not alcohol drinks.
Moorea remains one of the most beautiful islands we have seen and at least this tour allowed us to enjoy its beauty.

Did not cancel nor did they inform me of them not having the selected tour on sundays despite allowing me to pay. An employee had to tell me they don’t do this tour on the weekend due to not enough people booked

You don't tell the réal reason we gave it to you.
This tour is reserve for big cruise ship and not for hôtel guests or guest coming from Tahiti island.
Number one of tours on the island are ATV tour and Safari tour

Looking down from the top of the mountain and seeing all the beach bungalows on the Hilton Hotel beach far below. All types of beautiful flowers every where you went. Steve was a great and informative guide. Nice area around where the ship docked for walking and or having a drink at dusk on the beach before leaving port.

Saw various sights around the island and had a good overview provided by the tour guide, Steven.
The downside was that the van was hard to see out of due to the seating configuration.

We can not décide how to build the cars, it is like that and more for us in French Polynesia, since covid we do not have a lot of choices for vans.

I give the driver/tour guide Stephane and the beauty of Moorea 5 Stars. He was a wonderful driver, and was great at helping us in and out of the van, as the tour had quite a few stops/points of interest along the way. However, the van would be more suited for an airporter than sightseeing. The front row of seats sat very high, thus the view from the second and third row was mainly the backs of the seats in front of you and the van was difficult to enter and exit, especially from the back row. There was no sound system in the van, therefore the people in the back could only hear bits and pieces of what was being said.

This was a great circle island tour. Nice opportunity for photo stops, nice, air condition bus. I am sorry that I don't remember our guide's or driver's name, but they were both great. If you only have a few hours, this is a nice way to see the island.
