This class was fantastic from start to finish. We did the experience with Kawtar and Khmisa, and both were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the entire experience feel relaxed and fun. This was our first cooking class experience ever, and we loved learning about all of the spices and how to properly prepare everything step by step. We learned so much about Moroccan cooking, loved receiving the recipes afterward, and really enjoyed shopping together for all of the fresh ingredients. The appetizers and tagines we prepared were absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and everything felt very authentic. My father works in a steakhouse back home in the U.S., and this tour was a highlight of our trip for him, which says a lot. We also loved meeting other travelers from around the world during the class. Being able to purchase small packets of the spices to take home was a great touch. My father and I did this tour together and loved every part of it. This was one of the highlights of our trip and an easy 5-star experience that I highly recommend.

This was a great experience. We had a small friendly group and were all involved in shopping and food prep. We then had the pleasure of eating an excellent dinner we had shared the preparation of.
We really enjoyed the food class and I’ve already made one of the recipes since getting home!
One minor improvement I would make would be a little more on the history of Moroccan food, but that’s probably a me thing.
I would really recommend though and it is definitely worth the money.
This was such a fun experience! The chef was amazing. I learned quite a bit from her, and we made some delicious food! I highly recommend this experience.
I am very cautious about what I eat and drink on vacation. I felt every precaution was taken to keep us healthy! We did not get sick after eating the food.

Absolutely wonderful must-do experience in Marrakech. You feel like you are spending the day in someone's home, they are so friendly and fun. Shopping in the markets gives you a feel for the locals, and then learning to cook traditional dishes is such an experience. Come hungry as there is so much food to eat - so many dishes, and they all turn out so good. Definitely add this to your Marrakech itinerary. We wanted to go back again the next day!

A great afternoon spent creating Moroccan dishes! We made 4 starters and 2 tagines. There were 12 of us in total. We met the guide at 2pm at the meeting point, then went through the market to pick up the vegetables we needed on the way to the house. It was mainly chopping and preparing the food, but it was good fun. There was also an opportunity to buy some spices at the end. We finished around 4:30/45. Very good activity!
We learned to make Moroccan mint tea properly, 3 starters, 2 tagines and a dessert. The ladies were so lovely and very knowledgeable, got the whole group involved in the cooking and preparation and the set up of the class means it’s easy to chat to the whole group and make new friends. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend booking this!
Loved starting in the souk then walking to the kitchen. Made a great variety of delicious food that I have since prepared since returning home. Best tasting tagine that we had during our travels.
The experience was fun, informative, and delicious. Even as a vegetarian, I was able to fully enjoy the experience as only one dish was with meat.
It’s not really cooking - more chopping, but educational and learned a bit about how the locals cook.
Really lovely food and great people who are obviously very passionate about their local cuisine.

We met fellow tourists from other countries and we all marched off to the market and were each given vegetables to select for our taglines. We were given a welcome mint tea before food prep then we all chopped veg and added the spices. There was fun and laughter as we joined in and our head chef was light heartedly bossy! We then got to eat the food we made and it was the tastiest tagline we had during our 4 day trip!

Very nice class. We were well looked after and made a very nice 3 course Moroccan dinner. Going on the market and selecting the cooking ingredients first was also a nice experience.

A Moroccan cooking class which in the Medina. You go from the pickup location to the market to get the ingredients. Then you walk to a private house located in the Medina and cook a Tegime Dish. Ours was chicken tegime. Very simple, fun, would recommend!
This is an absolute must-do activity for all ages. Leila guided us through the entire process, from shopping at the local market to understanding the culture of traditional Moroccan food. Chef Khmisa made sure everyone was involved in the cooking process.
There was a lot of laughter, fun, and great memories. Thank you very much — we learned a lot!

Excellent cooking class. Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed walking through the market beforehand to pick up ingredients. Everyone was included in the cooking process and it was really fun to eat our finished dishes in a large group at the end.

This was such a fun experience — honestly one of my favorite things I did.
We did the cooking class in someone’s home, which made it feel so personal and authentic. We made so many different dishes, and let me tell you… the food was AMAZING. Like real, authentic Moroccan cuisine — everything tasted so good.
I’ve done a few cooking classes before, and this is definitely one of the best ones I’ve done. The whole experience was just fun, welcoming, and something I’d 100% do again.
If you’re in Morocco, just do it. Don’t even think about it.
Experience was underwhelming. Host was nice, she translated for the chef - participants did some chopping around a big table. Food was quite good, but dynamic between participants wasn’t great which made for a lackluster evening.

Each session brings together different participants, and every group naturally creates its own dynamic. As we welcome people from a variety of backgrounds, the overall ambiance can vary from one class to another.
Outstanding experience. Meet up point was easy to find. Our guide was friendly, informative and spoke perfect English. We were paired with another family (9 people total). We usually do private experiences but I’m glad we didn’t. This was much more fun with a group. Even our teenage daughter to her surprise liked it! We all took part in the shopping in the market followed by the cooking. This was our first meal outside of the 5-star hotel we are staying at and was hands down the best food we’ve had so far in Marrakech. I highly recommend this tour.
Absolutely incredible experience. Really central location so easy to find. Experience starts with buying ingredients and then treated to mint tea demo before the cooking starts. Thorough explanation of all the steps and info and about ingredients with lovely tutors. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech, we are already planning our Moroccan dinner party!
