Overview

On this small-group tour, spend half a day exploring the countryside near Hoi An on bicycles and learning traditional farming and cooking methods. This was such a fun, joy filled experience with Trang and her family! Loved every minute of it. Cycling through the rice paddies, buying our ingredients in the market, hysterical basket boat trip with Trang’s mom. All topped off with an amazing cooking class and lunch on the water courtesy of Trang and her hubby. Loved it! A must do!

This is a lovely way to get to see Hoi An. The guide picks you up from your hotel and takes you to the market to pick up ingredients for the cooking class. Along the way you’ll pass rice fields and water buffalo and some very scenic places. Then, you head over to the river for a boat ride through the coconut grove. There’s a lot of activity throughout the river and you’ll get to watch the boat guides show off their tricks. You’ll have the opportunity to get into a different boat for some spinning if you’re up for it. You’ll also have the option to cast a fishing net. After the boat ride, you head back to your outdoor kitchen to cook lunch. The food was simple to make and I’m looking forward to cooking for friends when I get back home. After eating, you head back to your hotel. The whole experience is seamless and the guide takes care of everything. Bring your appetite!

Great morning activity with delicious food

Bloody hot on the bicycle but great fun cycling on the streets of Hoi An (though they're nowhere near as crazy as Hanoi!) Great cooking class with an enormous lunch, make sure you don't eat breakfast! Also enjoyed the coconut boat ride.

Nice bicycle ride through hoi an and rice fields. The visit to the market with the guide was remarkable she took the time to show us different veggys and fishes and meat... the cooking class was a really good experience ! We got to prep the whole meal and we are ready to cook it at home as well. Excellent experience !
