The cooking class was great! Tram is very funny and explains a lot of things about the different foods you're preparing, you really get to make everything yourself in a beautiful place with a view of the coconut boat river, and the market visit is very interesting to learn more about vietnamese vegetables and fruits. It ended up just being the two of us on the experience and it was still super fun :) definitely would recommend if you want to try something different while you're in Hoi An.

YES CHEF! Tram was an amazing person to do this tour with, very lovely experience. I would highly recommend this tour, she is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the Vietnamese foods that we made and has many years of experience! Every dime spent on this tour is worth your time!!! Our day started off at the local markets where we picked out ingredients for the dishes we were going to cook down later the day, she told us the purpose and intention behind each ingredient, it was a very thrilling and educational experience. Next, we took a car ride and then visited her place & did the coconut boat ride. The ride was very fun, with friendly boat staff that took us around the river. We then went back, took a break and started our cooking class! The cooking class was very fun, engaging & Tram was very fun to communicate and talk with! At the end, we had the food we ate, along with some cheap paid drinks (beer/soft drinks). Overall a great experience, and would definitely come back to do something like this next time I am back in Vietnam.

This was such a wonderful experience! We had a lovely guide who took us around the food market and ran the cooking class on the river. The food was fantastic and her energy was so refreshing! You simply can’t come to Hoi A without doing this tour!

This event you will not want it to end from start to finish, it seems that it was not long enough for me from the market to the boats it’s like having a big bash on the water. From there to the cooking class Tram is a great Chef and Host she takes her time with each student. Tram was very high vibes she’s funny overall I will do it again I recommend this is a must try it should be rated 100. Thanks Tram for a wonderful experience.

It’s a great insight in to Vietnamese cooking and produce purchasing but it’s more than that as the trip round the market and the bamboo basket boat trip shows.
We were royally entertained whist we learnt with the humorous repartee of our host.
The cookery part of the trip was instructive and the tips and techniques shown meant all participants had a sense of achievement at the end and then we got to eat what we had made!

We had a lovely day. I recommend this tour. It's a wonderful experience to do with friends, family, or even couples. In short, we loved it. I simply recommend that everyone take care of our environment by not throwing trash into the river. As tourists, we'll help with the cleanup and preservation of the area.Everything was very clean and they explained very well about the products we would use, a kind person

This was one of the best tours we have ever done. The boats were fun but by far the best was cooking with Tram.
We were picked up on time at our hotel in Hoi An and then after 15 min drive out into the countryside we met Tram at the local market. she took us round explaining lots about the foods and we learned so much. We bought some things for our cooking class and then back in the car for a very short drive to her beautiful home. We had a short rest with some welcome cold water and then walked to the end of her garden to get the boats. This was fun and two of us transferred bright to another boat for crazy spinning. We also watched the local fishermen and tried our hand at crabbing.
Our boat people then took us back for our cooking class.
Tram made this so fun and we cooked 5 dishes and the whole time Tram explained everything about the food and Vietnamese culture. The flambé and pancake flipping was especially fun.
We then sat and ate the best tasting food and also served us a cold beer and cold drinks
Our car then took us back to the hotel on Hoi An

Had a wonderful time at this cooking class and coconut boat tour. I paid extra to have a driver pick me up in Da Nang. The first stop was the local market where we learned about all the vegetables and other foods that Vietnamese like to eat. We then went for the coconut boat tour which was peaceful and interesting to learn about crab fishing. It is not easy! Then we took our class and learned 4 dishes. I was stuffed and couldn’t finish all the food but I love that Duyen (the cook) gave us recipe cards so we could try to learn on our own. Wonderful day to spend in Hoi An!

we did this cooking class with a family of six and we all absolutely loved it! Tram the instructor and owner of the company was fabulous. She was so much fun and provided so much information about the ingredients we were using and how they added to each dish. Also, she went out of her way when she found out it was my birthday and provided a birthday cake at the end and played us the traditional Vietnamese birthday song which made the day even more special. I have taken cooking classes all around the world, and this is at the top of the list. Please support this wonderful family by taking the class.

Was a great experience. Educational and entertaining to make several traditional Vietnamese dishes with food gathered from the market, then prepared together, and a tasty feast. Plus, the coconut boat tour was a fun bonus! Highly recommended for your trip to Hoi An!!

This was a great experience. From the pick up to the drop off everything went smoothly. Going to the market to shop for ingredients was the best. And the Basket boats were so much fun. Sonny, the Chef, was not only skilled but very entertaining and made the whole group look good. And the food was delicious. It was one of the best cooking tours I have taken. I will do it again next time I am in Hoi An. I definitely recommend this tour. Just do it. It was great.

Tram was the most wonderful host. Our experience was such a personal one. She hosts her cooking class in the back of her house and got to enter the coconut boat from the private entrance behind her house. Everything was extremely clean and well-kept. She has so much to share and is so experienced with cooking. I cannot recommend this enough.

Sonny was our guide. What a fun time we had. Interesting wander around the food market then off to cooking class. We made some delicious food then sat and enjoyed it. Our guide was funny at times which made our experience enjoyable. We then went on a basket boat ride which was fun too. We would recommend this experience for sure

This was a great experience. Interesting start at the market to learn about the ingredients used for our lunch. Basket boat ride was fun and our cooking stations were ready to go when we retuned to the outdoor kitchen. Tram was a great instructor and we had a good time learning to cook all the foods we’d been eating all week. Tram was so personable and shared the recipes after the class. Nice way to meet other travelers.

This was a truly enjoyable and insightful tour. Its was great to be taken shopping in the market.
The cooking class with Tram was fantastic, she was able to accommodate food allergies, gave great explanations and assistance and the meal at the end was superb. We did the basket boat ride towards sunset and this unique experience was both beautiful and serious fun.
The tour is also excellent value for money.
