Cooking together with women from the local community was truly special. We learned how to prepare several dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious.
But beyond the cooking, what made it memorable was the sharing — learning a little more about the women, their stories and the project behind it.
A beautiful moment of connection that I would absolutely encourage anyone to experience as well!

We had a great time prepping and cooking along with the ladies and contributing to a worthy cause at the same time. Very enjoyable few hours and a tasty meal to finish it off.

Thank you so much for this beautiful review! We’re truly glad the experience felt special to you—not just the cooking, but the connections and stories shared along the way.
It means a lot to hear that the time spent with the women and learning about their journeys made such a lasting impression. Creating those moments of connection is at the heart of what we do.
We really appreciate your encouragement to others, and we hope to welcome you back again someday for another meaningful (and delicious!) experience.

The cooking course was amazing! The two ladies were so kind and sweet and let us prepare all the food if we wanted to (which we did!). The recipes were really yummy. We cooked a whole menu in great company! 100% recommend if you are interested in the Goan/Indian cuisine. We took some spices home and will definitely try to recreate these yummy dishes!

The workshop was a very interesting experience and a great opportunity to discover Indian cuisine in a real home setting. We could see what everyday cooking looks like, meet the hosts, and learn about the story behind a very inspiring project that supports women. What was missing for us was the chance for more hands-on cooking and receiving a full set of recipes after the workshop. Overall, the workshop is more of a live cooking experience than a fully interactive cooking class.

The food that was prepared was delicious. All of the ladies were lovely and very warm and welcoming. We didn't really get to do much of the cooking apart from helping to chop and prepare some veg. It was more of watching and waiting for the food to be ready. The ladies also made the dishes very quickly so it was hard to watch and learn.

It’s ok the food made was great however the ladies did 99% of it whilst we were told to just chop the veg. The ladies also just spoke their language and so communication and being taught about what was being made was very minimal. The food was great but as a cooking lesson it was pretty poor.

Dear Lexie,
Thank you for taking the time to provide such thoughtful feedback about our cooking class. We genuinely appreciate the detail you've shared in your review, as it helps us continually improve our culinary experiences.
We're delighted that you found the food to be great, which is, of course, the most important aspect of any cooking class.
Thank you again for your honest and constructive feedback.

This was a lovely experience all round. Lots of learning and laughter. Very relaxed and welcoming. We were encouraged to join in with the cooking and watch the processes. At the end we all enjoyed a fabulous meal together. Plenty of chairs and bench seating if you struggle to get down on the floor. Nice to know that the money is going to a good cause and helping local people women to escape abusive situations.

This was a very enjoyable, hands-on experience. A taster of Goan home life and cuisine. The ladies we saw could not have been more welcoming. A history of the project was explained and the ladies individual stories. The food we made was very good and adjusted to our taste - not everyone likes it too spicy. Do take some extra money though as items made by the project are brought out at the end.

Dear Janet,
Thanks for sharing your review! We're thrilled that you had an enjoyable, hands-on experience and got a taste of Goan home life and cuisine. The welcoming nature of the ladies and their personal stories make it even more special. We're glad the food turned out well and was adjusted to your taste preferences.
We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!

Kan kun anbefale denne oplevelse, de to damer er virkelig søde og nemme at snakke med. De er gode til at forklare hvad man laver undervejs. Samtidig går det til et rigtig godt formål!
