What are people saying about Bangalore

Sensational tour with an exceptional guide!
How to begin! This tour was everything I could have dreamed of: a kind, empathetic, deeply knowledgeable and friendly guide through some of the most quintessential parts of downtown Bengaluru. I learned so much and made a friend with Vajana my guide. She led me through the Tipu Summer Palace, the Fort and the KR Market, where I learned about all the vendors and the history of the market, and she not only tolerated but encouraged me to take photos and speak to locals throughout the day (I'm a photographer so that was essential for me!) She also taught me Kannada words and phrases along the way. I enthusiastically recommend booking this tour with Vajana, an experienced and inspiring guide. You can be the only one on the tour too, which makes it a private tour! You can also be surrounded with others to learn as a group. Book this!!

Best way to learn about and explore Bangalore with a local expert
I highly recommend this tour company. Seems there are multiple guides, and mine was Pradeep, who met me at my hotel with a driver which was a great bonus. Our driver dropped us off close to each location and often picked us up far from the dropoff. This allowed us to explore without backtracking.
Pradeep is highly educated about the culture, religion, politics, food and more of India and specifically Bangalore. I learned more during my 1/2 day tour that I would have ever learned exploring the city by myself. Will definitely schedule another tour next time I'm in Bangalore.

Excellent tour!
Raghu was an excellent guide - patient, informative, easy to understand, and offered a great mix of history and cultural insights. He offered to take guests photos at all the right locations and was intuitive in learning what we would all find interesting. The tour is the right pace and sees very interesting sights! He even went out of his way to help us get back to the start location to catch an uber. 10/10 recommend to anyone with half a day in Bengaluru.

Great way to get to know Bengaluru better!
I had a great experience on this tour of Bengaluru, even though I’ve been to the city a few times I feel like I got to know it better! Sunil was an excellent tour guide, sharing lots of knowledge about each place we visited. I felt very comfortable and safe during the whole time. I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends!

We started at 830 am, my driver/guide Bharath met me at my hotel and we immediately proceeded to Somnathpur. The Temple was the highlight of my trip. There we bypassed the line and met the local guide who was very knowledgeable and gave great descriptions of the building and shrines. After we left lunch in Mysore eating south Indian food on banana leaf, another highlight. Followed by a tour of the Mysore Palace, with another great local guide. Must also mention when visiting India, felt very comfortable and safe while Bharath was driving! Well worth the time if you have a day available in Bangalore

Marathon temple/palace day.
The full day experience is quite long so be prepared to be gone until 8/9pm given Bengaluru traffic. There is a rich set of history, architectural and religious knowledge sharing through this tour. The guide was able to share all history even if you had no knowledge; however it's so much you might want to read ahead of time if you're a visual learner and it's your first exposure to the content.

Relaxed, Well-Guided Tour with a Personal Touch
Other travellers should know that this is a well-organised and enjoyable experience, especially if you appreciate a relaxed pace and personalised attention. The driver/guide Diwakar was knowledgeable, patient, and very accommodating, making sure we were comfortable throughout the day. The tour covered key highlights like the palace and temples, and the traditional lunch served on banana leaves was a lovely cultural touch. It’s particularly suitable for those who may need a slower, more considerate pace without feeling rushed.

Very nice experience with Ashif
The walk through Ejipura was a unique experience. We got to see a school class and interact with the kids from the 9th grade. They asked questions, we asked questions, the kids were very interested and very cute. We also got to see a health station, and many more things. Our guide Ashif was a very nice person and told us many things about Ejipura. When you visit Bangalore please go to this tour. It helps the community there and you will learn a lot about slums in India.

A great first day in Bangalore!
Divakar picked us up from our hotel promptly and was immediately friendly and engaging. He had lots to talk about and was very enthusiastic. We saw and tasted and experienced things so foreign to us and that was incredibly appreciated. We found the local people so friendly and never once felt in any danger though we did experience much hustle and bustle. Loved it!!

Prashant is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind tour guide and Kumar a sweet and trustworthy driver. I learned so much about the history of Bangalaru and local mythology. The tour was perfectly planned, efficient, and the food we ate was delicious. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and relaxed the whole time. They also let me customize the stops on the tour to my preferences.

A sweet tour and different side of Bangalore
Our tour guide was Ayannar. He was super sweet and accommodating when we asked to change the time. He also helped us to navigate the busy Sunday afternoon to get to the meeting spot Ayannar is a history buff and shared history and religion insights along the way. He is super smart.
Given that it was a Sunday the markets were super crowded and not being local to India it was a challenge navigating through the large crowds. If you are doing this tour I recommend doing it during the week days when it’s less crowded. The KR Market and area around is a stark contrast to staying near UB City and walking down to MG Road area. It was interesting for our group to see.

A great day out with two...
A great day out with two really informative and fun guides. Learned so much about Bengaluru and life in India in general. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is limited on time and wants to see the sights/find out a bit more about life here. Highlights were definitely the palace, the lunch and travelling in the tuk tuk 😊
