The meeting point is at the bus stop opposite Elefin Coffee and the Bangkok Bank branch on Maha Rat Road, just a short walk south of Wat Pho. Our guide will be waiting at the bus stop. Please make sure to arrive on time, since we can only wait up to 10 minutes past the scheduled meeting time.

At Baan Silapin (The Artist’s House), you’ll have enough time to walk around the historic and restored wooden house and learn more about Thai culture. The boat tour also passes by the Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, with a stop to take photos of the temple’s massive Buddha statue.

- The most convenient way to reach the meeting point, and avoid Bangkok’s often congested road traffic, is by taking the MRT (metro) to Sanam Chai Station. From there, take the 'Museum Siam' exit. The meeting point is just a short 5-minute walk from the station.
- Please note that during the tour, we may experience a wait at one of the water locks, which regulate canal levels. These operate on no fixed schedule and are beyond our control.
- Bangkok’s traffic can be heavily congested. As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available time slot or day, though a rescheduling fee will apply. No refund will be provided in case of late arrival.
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Our tours operate rain or shine, as tropical rain showers in Thailand usually don’t last long. If it rains heavily, we try to seek shelter and will continue as soon as the weather improves. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues, as boarding and disembarking the boat may be difficult due to the lack of stairs at the piers.

When I tell you that this excursion was top notch and one of the best excursions I have ever been on. I can’t say it enough! Abby was absolutely outstanding! She was very friendly, very knowledgeable and went out of her way to make sure that we enjoyed our excursion. Everyone was really friendly, and the boat trip was exactly as advertised! Not too long and not too short of an excursion and was absolutely worth the price. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Bangkok. You will not be disappointed!

You get to see a part of Bangkok that is somewhat hidden. It’s a little like Venice. You are given time to walk around the shops along a part of the canal. Delicious mango and sticky rice. The guide named Joe gave us history of the things you see when you are riding the canals.
Bottled water is given out. You are required to wear the provided life vest.

We booked the 4.30pm time slot and I am so glad we did. Our host, Paula, was knowledgable, kind and funny all at once. The sights from the boat were both beautiful and interesting and even feeding the fish was a wonderful experience. As we returned to our starting point, the sun was starting to set making it the perfect end to our first busy day in Bangkok. Would definitely recommend to all visitors to Bangkok, and if you get to meet Paula, you are luckier for it!

10/10, Tammy is the kind of tour guide you want. She has very good energy and extremely knowledgeable about Bangkok. Tammy took us to a market alongside the Canal, stopped by the Artist House and got a bunch of handmade items from throughout the market. We got up close to the big Buddha in the boat. MUST SEE!!!

I went on the last canal tour for the day and had a chance to see the sites as the sunset and it was absolutely epic. I can’t recommend this tour more.
Our tour guide Bella was an absolute legend and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions posed. Her wit and banter was extremely refreshing and made for a fun journey.

Lovely guide but way too much talking at very high volume 😔 just wanted to watch and calmly soak in surroundings but your not able to as constant noise from microphone. Not able to properly enjoy and see the sites being told which way to look etc. wish we took a non guided tour our mistake 😓
If you want a calming experience where you can actually take in the canals I would look elsewhere

Better than being on streets, but nothing special! Simple visit to see the contrast between poor and rich! Guide’s pronouncation and fast speech did not allow to get the idea behid! Be careful at cafes/shops place where you stop at canals, the nets by riverside are broken in many places and your items by accident may fall in the river!

Very little commentary. I could have booked a longboat tour at the pier for less money and gotten a simular experience, but I booked with an English-speaking guide because I wanted… a guide.

For the price at which we offer our tour, it is certainly not possible to arrange a private 2-hour longtail boat at the pier yourself.

The description is misleading because you are in the boat 30-40 minutes to the market, then walk around market and 20 minutes boat again to zip back to the start. Having said that, it is still very enjoyable and worth doing.

A taxi took us to the Elefin cafe, the meeting point for the trip. We were delighted our guide was the inimitable Ken. He was in charge of two boats and always made sure everyone was informed and safe. The canals were a joy to see and the Big Buddha was making when seen from the long tail boat at water level. Thanks again Ken - ‘Lang may yer lum reek’ as we say in Scotland!
