Incredible excursion exploring Tulum!
Such a fun day exploring Tulum! Snorkeling with the turtles and through the cenote was an experience we will always treasure! Simple, delicious lunch was provided. Our guides Claudia and Diego were accommodating, patient with our children, funny, knowledgeable! They provided a photographer that followed our family for the day and snapped the most incredible photos! We were so thankful for the memories he captured! Even underwater photos. We purchased all the photos which came out to about $424 US dollars. Downside to the tour was the walk to the Mayan ruins. It was so hot and long. This was very difficult my mother in her 70s and for the children. By the time we got to the ruins we didn't really enjoy them because we were all so exhausted. We saw trams shuttling people from the parking to the site while we were walking. This was not presented to us as an option. The fact that they made us walk all that way and back was pretty ridiculous and I would highly encourage them to change this.

Our guide Frank and...
Our guide Frank and driver Hose were really nice and the tour was really organized. Best tour we had. Historic places may not sound like the best place for kids but they made it so entertaining for the kids and our 7 and 9 year olds LOVED it. We cannot thank Frank and Hose enough. Thank you Amigo tours for having a great team!!

Wow
What an experience. We could have done this on our own but that would have been a disaster. Our guide, Summer, made the experience. So knowleable, so modest, she did an amazing job. AMAZING. She really did make the experience total. Thank you Summer.
If you thought you could do the Cenotes on your own, think again. It's one thing to jump into a pool of water, it's quite another to know how that water was formed, how the Cenote came to be, what keeps it going, what wildlife it gives life to, and what we can do to preserve it. Thank you Summer for an unforgeterful experience.

Great tour!
Amazing, informative tour! Tulum was great and the perfect amount of time--the guide was super engaging and informative, which was key since it was well over 100 degrees and there's minimal shade. If it hadn't been so gorgeous and fascinating, it would have been hard to be out there for two hours.
I do wish that we'd had a bit more time at Coba, since it is so, so massive. We took the bikes to the far end of the site where we could climb to the top of the ruins (Holy heart attack--hard but so worth it!) because the walk from one end to the other was two miles. This meant that we just flew past all the ruins on the way, but I assumed that I'd have time to see them on the walk back to the entrance. However, by the time we waited to climb, climbed to the top, and then came back down, we had less than an hour left, which wasn't enough time to really stop and appreciate the different areas of the site.
The last stop at the Mayan village around the cenotes was my kids' (ages 9 & 11) favorite part, where we had a delicious lunch and learned about the customs of beekeeping and chocolate-making still being done in Mayan communities today. The cenotes are beautiful and refreshing and the time allocated was plenty to eat, learn, and swim. It was a really amazing tour. Do be warned--it is a LONG day. We got picked up at 9 and didn't return until 7:45. It also requires decent mobility and the ability to handle the heat. I felt like it was worth it, but some of the older members of the group struggled.

A good time!
This day is a lot longer than you are prepared for, so make sure you settle in with:
- a spare charger
- a good book
- a pair of headphones
- and your comfy shoes
Other than that, it was absolutely amazing. Carla and her team were wonderful. We enjoyed every bit of it. Don't get too caught up in all the things they try to sell you. Just enjoy the tour for what it is.
The cenote was beautiful, the little village was beautiful, and seeing the ruins site was a once-in-a-lifer time experience. Definitely something that I highly recommend. Although be prepared to spend a little more than what you spend on the trip, because as the ticket, the fees, the gate entry, and the things you buy, it starts to add up a little bit. All in all, great trip, good time.

Great trip, professional , accommodating , very knowledgeable and highly recommend. Everything was 1st class service. Marco and Arturo were so knowledgeable and professional. Left/ forgot my sunglasses in the van and they had them dropped at the hotel for me and also called to let know. Very professional and honest. I would highly recommend.

Wow
I honestly think anyone will have a hard time finding a guide better than Ricardo. His ability to deal kind and calmly with a large group of tourists from all over the world, to speak eloquently in a captivating and entertaining manner and his exceptional knowledge (which includes extra research that he participated in himself) of history and the mayan people all distinguish him from any tour guide i have ever seen.
On top of that he was also extremely aware and concerned for our experience. He made sure nobody got lost and also warned us about any possible scams.
The tour itself was also full of great, fun and interesting experiences. The lunch was very good and the Cenote was a beautiful and refreshing end of our day.
10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Awesome tour guide, short trip overall
Overall, an awesome trip! Carlos Moo was a wonderful tour guide - very knowledgeable, easy to understand, has clearly been doing this a long time. The bus was clean and the whole operation was pretty smooth. Ekinox Tours did a great job!
Your enjoyment will depend on what you are looking for in a tour. The whole thing felt a bit rushed (especially Tulum) but it had to, in order to fit within 7-8 hours. It’s the price you pay for a half day tour. If you want a more comprehensive tour, go for the 10-12 hour tours. They’re that long for a reason
Also, your pickup time depends on your location. We got a WhatsApp text less than 24 hours in advance with our time. Would have been nice to know that info sooner, but that’s our only real complaint. Very enjoyable overall!

Excellent tour
Our guide Armondo was amazing.
He was knowledgeable about all the
food stops and gave us insight into Tulum-things to do, places to visit
and shop. The food was excellent, local places we would have never found.
Each place was unique,
and so tasty.

A great introduction to a...
A great introduction to a fascinating Mayan site and the bonus of a swim in a cenote afterwards! Tulum has one of the most beautiful settings of any of the ruins that I have seen over the years. Returning 32 years after my first visit I was very pleased to find it well looked after and not at all overcrowded.
Our guide Gabriel and driver Francisco were so helpful and thoughtful, making sure everyone in the group was happy throughout the tour. Fresh jicama at the end of the Tulum visit was such a nice thing to be met with.
Gabriel knows so much about the area, its history and ecology and we enjoyed talking to him about so many things that you wouldn't discover on bigger group tours.
We were the only group at the cenote so could really enjoy a refreshing swim. The food from the little food cart was really good - we recommend the tacos al pastor!
Thank you again to Gabriel and Francisco for a fantastic day out.
