Mt Field for the win
Had a fantastic tour and would highly recommend it. The highlight was definitely Mt Field—walking among the towering trees was incredible, and both Horseshoe Falls and Russell Falls were absolutely beautiful. Our guide, Jarrod, really made the day. He was friendly, easy to chat to, and incredibly knowledgeable about Tasmania, which added so much to the experience. A great day all around!

What an amazing view! It was so cold the wind come straight through you. The travel guide was super informative. I’m so glad I got to visit with my kids and mum.

Fun time in Tasmania
The waterfalls at Mt.Field are beautiful. The animal sanctuary is a good place to see wild animals that are being well cared for. Wellington affords spectacular views (if the weather conditions are right) of Hobart and the surrounding countryside.

Hobart
Observation deck on Mt. Wellington (Kunanyi) overlooking the Hobart Derwent River.
  • Bring all-weather clothing, even in summer. The weather can change abruptly on the mountaintop, and it’s often chilly even when it’s sunny down in Hobart.

  • There is an observation shelter and restrooms at the summit.

  • The lookout point is wheelchair accessible with easy access from the parking area.
