AMAZING cultural experience

We organised for a trip to Uluwatu to see the Kecak Fire Dance. Ary and the Abut Team made a fantstic trip for us. We were picked up by Ary who drove us for the trip. He was lovely and was so accomodating for us. We arrived at the temple early whoch was great so we had time to explore them temple. As a side note for the woman, you cannot enter any bali temples during that week of the month so make sure before you book. The temple is beautiful but the monkeys are deffinently more brazen then ubud and nusa penida. Keep your valuables in a small front carry bag and you will be fine. The cultural dance/show was spectacular. The story is played out well and the white monkey was highly interactive and entertaining. You get a pamphlet explaining roughly whats happening but regardless iflt was enjoyable to watch. Very tightly packed but expected for a small ampitheatre. After Ary took us to The New Dhawa beach restaraunt. Im vegetarian and was well catered for. Hubby enjoyed his seafood platter and we were beach front which was lovely We were serenaded by a roaming band whci added to the atmosphere. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Romy was very punctual and an awesome driver for us. He spoke excellent English and accompanied us down to all the waterfalls, making sure we were safe. He took us to waterfalls off the so called beaten path which is what we wanted and He gave us a little history as we were driving. We were able to have lunch with him as well. . This was an awesome excursion for us and highly recommend him.

What didn't we see today?;

Highly recommend this tour. We LOVED it. The Ubud monkey forest was beautiful, and interactive. So many gorgeous monkeys and a beautiful forest. The rice terrace was spectacular with many photo opportunities, as was the waterfall. The temple was breath-taking, and we were lucky enough to be there to observe an anniversary ceremony - what a privilege. Lunch was delicious local cuisine with a stunning view. The day could not have been any better. Huge thank you to Ketut , our driver for the day - what an absolute star. Incredibly knowledgeable, and a lovely, lovely person. He made us comfortable throughout and even added an extra stop at the Luwak coffee plantation. We cannot thank Ketut enough. If you're in Bali - you have to do this tour! Thank you so much Ketut - you made our anniversary a day to remember!

The best experience!!

This was the best experience for the best valuable. Somewhat customizable. My tour guide ensured I got to see everything I wanted and even offered to stop for local food for lunch. I was a solo traveler and it was extremely safe. The best value out of all the tours I considered and I could not have imagined a better experience. I spent some money out of pocket, however, it was all for extras I chose to purchase. Everything else was covered. Highly recommend, this is a must while you’re in Bali😍😍

Fun, well organized and well paced tour of Ubud’s major sites

This was a great, well balanced and paced tour taking in the highlights of the Ubud region in Bali. The half day tour included four diversified locations, starting with the Monkey Forest right at feeding time, followed by the majestic rice terraces. We then continued to a local and serene Ubud temple finishing with a visit to a coffee plantation complete with free tastings of 14 varieties of coffee and tea. We then stopped for lunch at an atmospheric restaurant overlooking rice fields. The tour company, Bali Local Host, was very easy to communicate with and my assigned tour guide, Esa, was excellent. He is youthful and cheerful, always with a smile, and very knowledgeable about Bali and all the locations we visited. He speaks excellent English and is fun and easy to talk to. I would love to have Esa as my guide on any future tour. The tour began at 8am from my hotel in Seminyak and I was dropped off at about 2.30pm, leaving the afternoon free to relax and explore. This was the perfect schedule for my plans. I highly recommend booking this tour if you plan on visiting Bali and would like a cultural experience.

An Excellent Day in Bali.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide was a gentleman named Gusti. Gusti is very knowledgeable, very polite, and an excellent driver, and also a good storyteller. We visited many different places, and it was a wonderful introduction to Bali. The tour was not rushed, and there was plenty of time to see and do things. Gusti made our experience very memorable. We were very happy with this tour. We highly recommend it.

Saw everything.

Great company. They went out of their way to help us as we were coming from Seminyak but then staying on the island. The tour was not overly busy and there were lots of guides. We saw manta rays swimming around us. The next place has turtles. The fish in the reef were spectacular. Food was good. Very enjoyable and easy trip.

Vitho was very...

Vitho was very communicative and right on time to take us all the way up to UBUD and the surrounding areas. He was very patient with the encountered traffic and took care of us in acquiring our entrance tickets, etc. He was especially knowledgable about the Hindu Temple that we visited - a highlight of the tour. A Viator suggestion is to update this event - as the D'Alas Warung restaurant is no longer featured in this tour --- it was one of the reasons we selected it. We did not mind paying to visit this restaurant, but other guests may feel differently. We felt badly for Vitho being caught in the middle of this error. But he handled it very professionally.

What a full big day. D was so accommodating and full of information. We hit all of the highlights plus a jewelry store, batik factory and wood carving operation at our request. His restaurant choice for lunch was delicious. We had a big day and made it back to the cruise ship with 1hour to spare. Ps: traffic is terrible in Bali and he worked the timing perfectly. If I could give it a ten I would.
