Great introduction to Hokkaido cuisine
We booked the tour for our last night in Sapporo and what a great way to end our stay in the great city. We tasted different tasty dishes, including sashimi, zangi chicken, grilled lamb and ramen in lovely izakaya.
Our guide, Ayumi, was wonderful, providing interesting facts about Hokkaido and Sapporo and we had really good chat with her and the other participant of the tour.
All in all, a great tour and would recommend it to those who want to learn more about Hokkaido cuisine.

Great out of town option
This is a whole day experience, from morning pickup at your hotel to dropoff. Beautiful nature scenery just outside Sapporo, with our kind driver Yuki. He assisted with pictures and patiently accompanied us. Lake Toya views especially the Usu Ropeway were unforgettable.

Perfect Sapporo Experience
What can I say about Tiger? He is now my friend. And he is a fantastic host, crafting the stops, food, and drinks to the guests’ preferences. He went above and beyond, even staying past the generous time allotment. Way more than my money’s worth on this one. You’ll be glad you did it!

Good talk and good food
What a lovely morning I had with Kanae both shopping and preparing our lunch together. The food was delicious as well as nutritious.
I would recommend this tour to anyone in the Sapporo area who likes to cook and learn more about the food history of this area.

Fun time making soba
You make the soba for your meal afterwards. The meal was delicious! You get both a hot and cold dipping “sauce/soup”. And this particular experience also comes with a plate of tempura - when we went they also included seasonal asparagus. My 3 year old loved the meal.

Nice tour away from city
Friendly tour guide, even though he need to use Google Translate to communicate with us. But it worked out just fine. Nice drive to see all the famous places around Biei and Furano. The blue pond is beautiful. No crowds in April, but the fields are just dirt. There still some snow on the mountains so not too bad. Just no blooms. Visit in June till November offers more green and flowers or winter in February and March for snow. But will be expensive and crowds.

Fun for the whole family!
It’s fun, and with today's rain, it was a perfect afternoon. We learned a lot and enjoyed the whole experience. There was audience participation, but no pressure to take part in that. We didn’t order the meal and got one drink and a photo anyway, so it really isn't necessary to make it that expensive. Enjoy!

Fun Day Great Sights
Got to see some pretty spectacular sights on a snowy day - a zoo covered in snow, a waterfall, lake and artisans at work. Tomi our guide and driver did a fantastic job making sure we were comfortable and beautifully navigated the snowy roads and road closures.

Wonderful experience with kids
Iku-San was such a wonderful guide. She made sure we were comfortable and tailored our stops to the family. I was solo with my 4 children (ages 2-12) and she was so great with the kids too. We had a great time. The two hour tour was perfect for our attention spans and to get a nice introduction to Sapporo for first time visitors.

Ryo (Leo) was an awesome guide and really customized the tour to what I was interested in! We saw so much of Sapporo, and it was great to get a sense of the city from his perspective, having lived here for many years. Even outside of the tour, Ryo provided some wonderful recommendations for the rest of my time in Sapporo and other cities I would be visiting in Japan. I was a solo traveler, and it felt like having one of my friends show me around his city!

Roy Aoki was very knowledgeable about Sapporo and helped me plan a custom trip suited to my needs. We were able to walk around Sapporo in refreshing weather, visiting the Sapporo Beer Museum, Tower 38 Observatory, Odori Park among others.
The tour guide Roy Aoki also spoke excellent English and we were able to discuss many things about Sapporo

Very happy I booked this trip
I booked this trip because I wanted to see Jigokudani. But Lake Toya was so beautiful, when we had some extra time I was able to see Lake Shikotsu as well. Cape chikyu was super beautiful as well. My driver Ms. kishimoto found a hidden, nice restaurant for me for lunch . Overall I had a great time. Very happy I booked this trip.
