Same-Day Excursion to Bharatpur This full-day excursion from Agra covers three major attractions near the city. We start early in the morning and drive about 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Fatehpur Sikri – the former capital of Emperor Akbar. Built between 1571 and 1585, this walled city is known for its grand palaces and monuments, though it was later abandoned. From here, we continue to Bharatpur to visit the famous Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary. Spread across 29 sq. km, the park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to 365 species of birds along with a rich variety of flora and fauna. Enjoy a four-course buffet lunch before heading to Deeg. Deeg was once the capital of the Jat rulers of Rajasthan, with its beautiful palace built by Badan Singh. After the visit, we return to Agra.
