Excellent. River tour. The guide did a very good job . When we got there the steps/walk way was difficult a needs to be redesigned for safety. Animals and displays were fantastic. Over one hundred koalas.

Great koala experience

The boat excursion was very comfortable and included some interesting facts about the areas we went past. We really enjoyed the Koala Sanctuary. It was very clean and the animals looked we'll taken care of. It was feeding time so many of the koalas were awake.

Best cruise and exceptional helpful staff ever!

The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledge on the boat. Boat was exceptionally clean and so was the bathrooms. Food was very good, also. Well stocked in drinks of all kinds, including adult beverages. Plenty table and chairs to set, inside or out. The sanctuary was outstanding. Petting a Kuala Bear was the best experience ever. Plus seeing a large variety of other animals.

Great Way to Spend a Day in Brisbane

What a great way to spend a day in Brisbane. From the moment you board the Miramar II your adventure starts. During the trip to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary you hear fascinating commentary about the sights you are seeing on either side of the Brisbane River. Once you arrive at the sanctuary you have a perfect amount of time to see all the animals, talks and shows available. It’s especially nice to see how well cared for all the animals are and the employees are so friendly and knowledgeable.

Brilliant trip

Fabulous! Brilliant narration on journey there. Crew all helpful & friendly. Cafe bar food fresh & wine reasonably priced. Toilets on board clean. Ideal amount of time at Lone Pine, bought lunch aboard on return trip. Get to departure pontoon 30 mins early as that’s when they start boarding. Coveted seats upstairs were fun.

Great half day out

The boat was clean and the crew were friendly and helpful. The onboard cafe bar was well stocked with good service. The commentary for the outward journey was clear and interesting. Plenty of time was allowed to walk around the sanctuary and buy refreshments. The sanctuary staff were also friendly and knowledgeable. The return journey had no commentary (same route in reverse so unnecessary) and the cruise was leisurely and relaxing. We all enjoyed this trip

Excellent, fun Koala Sanctuary tour

Excellent Brisbane River tour to arrive at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Very relaxing & informative. Sanctuary was excellent with very close viewing of the Koalas, Cuckatoos, Kangaroos, Wallabys and other Australian mammals. We were able to hear a keeper talk about their crocodile and it was so educational. Great place to visit with a family, partner, or solo. Highly recommend 🤗

Excellent tour

Good boat ride to and from. Sanctuary was awesome!! I was worried there would not be enough time to see everything but worked out perfectly. Saw the raptor show, the sheepdog roundup show, got to see all the exhibits, added the koala moment to pet a koala, and fed the kangaroos. Highly recommend.
